Looks good DJ, I think I would make the following tweaks (-1 Evolpea, +1 Tutelage; -1 Nissa, +1 Ob Nix), because both Nissa and Ob are there for card draw but Nixy is more versatile, don't have to bother with transforming him and is probably easier to get his ultimate off. I prefer to have more change of drawing Tutelage than Evolpea but that's a personal choice.

Makes sense, I'll chew on it. Those two changes go very well together. Ob and Tutelage are very good friends.

I also was testing a similar deck and found that I very rarely was winning with Mill, so it might be worth checking if something else than Tutelage would be better. I found that I almost always could kill the oppo before milling him and quite often through Ob Nix's ultimate.

This deck has trouble killing people that have lots of blockers, unlike the dimir crats. That's why I think the Tutelage plan backup is cool. I also support Shock's changes. Want me to edit it into the master thread in the 'crats' post I made?

EDIT: wait.... you added Whirler Rogues? HMMMMMM well I suppose full tutelage may not be necessary then. It depends if you get mossed alot.

Deck won 5 in a row last night (when I could find opponents) as is. Tutelage is a secondary win con, as it was always intended to be. Rogue is too good to pass on. If you can run it in your deck, you probably need to figure out how to run it. That's what this build tried, and I believe succeeded in doing. (Finally)

@Darksock

Yes on Ob vs. Niss, no on third tutelage (I updated the OP)

That's fair, as you said Tutelage is a backup wincon could even switch em for woodland wanderer 5/5 trampler would draw some fire that may save your smothering abom, or Ulamog and Sower, or Drowner of Hope.

I don't think so... Tutelage is brutal vs control, ramp, anything even marginally slow. Wanderer is dope, but with rogues in the deck, I can do better for less. Ulamog, Sower has been in and out of this deck since day one. But I just don't like it. They could be dead cards in hand, almost nothing else can be. Drowner is again a really good card, but this deck does better when it plays multiple cards a turn, rather than 1 big brute - I like that he has a way to sac scions, but honestly their self sac is more than enough, he usually feels like win more when he comes into play (although, just barely). But, just so you know, these are all things that made a ton of sense to me at some point or other.

I'm trying out your build, but I'm dropping 1 copy of visionary for nissa because legendary planeswalkers, I feel, are worth the 1 extra mana cost.

Nice deck ideas posted lately.

Allow me to go back to a more "conventionnal" build, i'm allways eager to get some nice advice from nga users (except maybe from babs, she makes me cry sometimes) :

Sultai Ramp

Creatures

4 x Gatecreeper Vine
3 x Eldrazi Skyspawner
1 x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
2 x Eyeless Watcher
2 x Possessed Skaab
2 x Drowner of Hope
1 x Sire of Stagnation
2 x Gaea's Revenge
1 x Desolation Twin
1 x Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

Spells

2 x Evolutionary Leap
4 x Natural Connection
3 x Mwonvuli Acid-Moss
2 x Languish
1 x Kiora
2 x From Beyond
1 x Ob Nixilis Reignited
2 x Nissa's Renewal
1 x Part the Waterveil

Lands

5 x Forest
3 x Island
3 x Swap
2 x Lumbering Falls
2 x Sunken Hollow
2 x Woodland Cemetery
2 x Hinterland Harbor
1 x Drowned Catacomb
1 x Dimir Guildgate
1 x Simic Guildgate
1 x Mortuary Mire

So yeah... 23 lands. With 8 mana fixes (4 vines + 4 Nat. Connection) and additionnal (generic mana) ramp, it's been going well so far. I might consider 24 lands if i run into mana consistency issues.

Cards i'm considering for the list :
2x Bounding Krasis
Reclamation Sage + Woodland Bellower
1x land

With the ability to consistently cast it on T5 i gave Sire of Stagnationa shot. If the opponent plays 1 land it's worth it, plus it's a removal magnet and the body is decent for the cost.

Building this list i pretty much tried to adress the allmighty randomname list's "weaknesses" while not hurting too much the ramp and wincons consistency. I went Black for the versatility of Skaab and Ob Nixilis instead of White or red. I'm probably wrong, and the original list much stronger than this one, but Timmeh wanted Sire of stagnation ! :D

Looking forward to your feedback !

PS : (nah, seriously, i love your advices babs !)

Edit : fixed lands, had 4x Hinterland Harbor.
Edit 2 : latest change -1 watcher -1 sower +2 Gaea's Revenge

So many green rampshells being posted recently.

Sire of Stagnation
Possessed Skaab
Languish
Ob nixilis
Mire
good targetted Spot removal

White gives you

Gideon
Planar Outburst
Retreat to Emeria
Angelic Edict
Suppression Bonds
Emeria sheperd

Red gets you

Radiant Flames
Rolling Thunder
Omnath
Burn

Blue gives

Jace
Lumbering Falls
Counters
Waterveil
Drowner of Hope
Eldrazi Skyspawner
Kiora
A whole host of situationally excellent spells (I mean even Displacement wave is pretty good in scion based Rampdecks)

Feels black got shafted. Deck looks fine otherwise.

Ob Nixilis, Languish, Fleshbag, Rising Miasma, Cruel Revival, Kothophed.. those all seem solid.

Kothophed especially is solid with all this green lifegain shenanigans going around.

Beast you forgot the Skaab imo : the ability to recover languish/renewal/Ulamog/AnyFatty is great and improves the consistency of the deck. I considered going 3x Skaab but i dont want it too often in my starting hand...

I prefer Languish over Planar Outburst because it's cheaper =T4 (and later doesn't kill my fatties) while flames doesn't allways clean all the threats (also it requires 3 colors on board for maximum efficiency wich might be more frequent on T4 than T3). All in all a good compromise for the "Swarm alarm" spot imho, am I wrong ?

Only card i feel is REALLY missing from white is Angelic Edict to take quick care of PW and Ulamog.

I'm currently testing -1 watcher -1 sower +2 Gaea's Revenge. I like Plated crusher a lot for the 7CMC spot as well... Damn too much interesting cards !

i won a game last night only cuz the opponent dropped Koth. Otherwise I would have lost for sure. I hate that card.

Yeah this is how I feel about him too... Nissa's renewal changes things a bit, so does Offshoot. Still; vs a focused agressive deck; being forced to cast this guy can still be an absolute deathsentence. I want to Run him since I love the Necropotence family of effects; but I'm a big pussy. I only dare run him in Abzan lifegain deck. Even there I often sub him out.

6/6 flying is good, and drawing as well. There's some lifegain in many green ramps so why not.

But with Nissa, Sire, Ob Nixilis, Kiora, Evoleap... the draw in this deck is decent. Moreover, the 6CMC has allready cards like waterveil, renewal, sire, drowner, possibly sower... So it doesn't make the cut.

Well I don't think this is absolute tier 1, but I can't help it, I love durdling and Value, and it has game vs any good deck in the format:

Sultai SuperDrazi Pijama party

Curve: 7/10/8/5/5 : pretty acceptable for a control deck.

1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
2 x Disperse
4 x Gatekreeper Vine

4 x Spell Shrivel
3 x Artificer's Epiphany
2 x Titan's Presence
1 x Nissa, Vastwood Seer

2 x Ulamog's Nullifier
2 x Languish
1 x Rising Miasma
1 x Kiora, Master of the Depths
2 x From Beyond

1 x Disciple of the Ring
1 x Brood Butcher
2 x Necromantic Summons
1 x Ob Nixilis Reignited

1 x Greenwarden of Murasa
1 x Sire of Stagnation
1 x Oblivion Sower

1 x Ruin Processor

1 x Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

3 x Island
4 x Swamp
5 x Forest
2 x Lumbering Falls
2 x Sunken Hollow
2 x Woodland Cemetery
2 x Drowned Catacomb
2 x Hinterland Harbor
1 x Mortuary mire
1 x Dimir Guildgate
1 x Golgari Guildgate

Alot of things going on in this deck.

4 walkers to win with; an infinite reanimation package (epiphanies + Necro Summons + Murasa + Disperse), but also a light processor theme (4 Spell Shrivel, Oblivion Sower and 2 Titan's Presence to feed 2 Ulamog's Nullifier and 1 Ruin Processor), and we even get to cast lots of eldrazi and top off at Ulamog.

Deck Features

Mini Combos
