Used to hate the purist roll 3D6 once. Damn luck. Better system was we used 4D6 and kept 3 highest. It's tough too if you have a preferred class but don't have the best rolls as it hampers you, a magic user with intelligence of 11? A cleric with a wisdom of 12! However it can be a challenge to play and level a character with sub par stats, not to mention the role playing element, he half Orc with 8 charisma.
