Game 1: My mistake was not thinking of Renewal and got punished hard for it. I was to reckless and should've gone defense

Game 2: Have 4 mana open. Want to plat Act on his Blisterpod and sac it to Bone Splinters. That way he would have no creatures and can only swing with gideon. And then I would have a 1/1 to block and protect Ob and Nissa. When I play Act, game taps out my black sources... Very stupid and frustrating and it costed me the game.

Now to be clear: I'm pretty sure Gemini would have won the game anyway. If you see the video, it's clear that he's out of my league. Better player and better deckbuilder. Wish you al the luck in the tournament Gemini!

Mackey, your deck isn't bad, it just seems to be behind in that matchup. You have to be able to answer Gideon and his retreats, then you can do some things. We all expected you to have the black open as well for the act/splinters combo, would have been a good move. Sucks when the game auto-selects and you just get click happy to move ahead due to slow animations. It's the reason why some people play so slowly to make sure they don't have those type of misclicks.

Don't be hard on yourself, I think that was an impossible match for you to win... Gemini's deck blanks the majority of your strategy and keeps you from having any good plays. Too bad on the AI screwing you. :-/

Yeah, Act of Treason is a weird choice in a tournament with open decklists. But I got blown out 0-2 by it so what the hell do I know

My game against Dieverse1 is going to be delayed, my work schedule got changed. We're looking at 930PM EST tomorrow night now, hopefully that's okay for him.

Yeah... Maybe I shouldn't have brought the Act to this tournament... But at that moment it was my most consistent deck and I really like playing it. Anyway still having fun and on to the next!

Why didn't Radiant Flames allow me to make X=1? I should be able to just declare 1R for 3 mana...cause I really wanted to keep that token. Is it another bug?

Also, as DJ already knows, I wasn't even planning on playing this deck for the tournament. I wanted to play Esper Control knowing that I have far more experience with it because my Xbox broke down. I got insecure last minute and decided that Mwonvuli Acid-Moss was better over Sphinx's Tutelage for this tournament.
