All right guys and gals, for my first deck I am posting for the B4Z expansion, I am going for a Grixis Control Mill deck.

This has been performing very well so far with the testing I have been doing with it the last week against AI and then once happy with its consistency vs players and so far it is 12-1 with the one being a guaranteed win for me but I was not paying attention and cast Ulamog on a guy who was playing sac/steal and attacked with my only blocker... major /facepalm.

Anyway here we go:

3 x Runed Servitor
1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
3 x Alchemist's Vial
3 x Altar's Reap
2 x Esperzoa
3 x Fleshbag Marauder
3 x Sphinx's Tutelage
2 x Radiant Flames
3 x Act of Treason
1 x Akoum Firebird
1 x Aligned Hedron Network
4 x Brilliant Spectrum
1 x Languish
2 x Cruel Revival
2 x Necromantic Summons
1 x Ob Nixilis Reignited
1 x Oblivion Sower
1 x Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

1 x Plains
4 x Island
3 x Swamp
3 x Mountain
1 x Shambling Vent
2 x Smoldering Marsh
2 x Sunken Hollow
1 x Prairie Stream
1 x Drowned Catacomb
1 x Clifftop Retreat
2 x Sulfur Falls
2 x Dragonskull Summit

Fairly standard control cards with very very high mill potential, Brilliant Spectrum is the corner stone card that either mills for huge amounts or lets you dig 4 cards deep, white land added mainly for this card and to a much lesser extent Shambling Vent.

Great combos between altars reap and Runed Servitor/Act of Treason. In one turn you can block enemy attacker then sac servitor with AR for 3 card draw then the following turn if you have 8 land can end up cast 2 Brilliant Spectrum's for a total of 12 cards including upkeep which will end any game at that point (assuming you have at least 1 Tutelage).

The deck also capable of winning without mill although this happens less often with the limited amount of creatures. However with Treason stealing and damaging + the 2 rez cards you can end games fast if the opps mills a big sexproof guy. I also has one game where I rez'd an oppo Ulamog then cast Act of Treason on it to give it haste to finish off the mill win :)

Has a very hard time dealing with plainswalkers, particularly the new white one.

I am constantly tinkering with it so let me know what you think.

Must say nothing like slamming nearly 30+ cards into the graveyard on turn four lol.! Funny thing is the guy then blasted my Sphinx to only see another one the run after and the game was milled over on turn 6 :)

Oh man your deck is so mouch fun, best anti Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger deck ever! Hope it goes to meta and people will fear to play Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

BTW anyone else got epic games withAkoum Firebird, where you revive him for 6 mana against heavy control until you win?

I put together a creature-based Grixis Eldrazi deck because I was intrigued by Vile Aggregate's potential value. Plus I really like Sire of Stagnation. Even though it has 28 creatures, I have been able to respond to the most pressing threats, while letting the consistent pressure of all the creatures chew up the chumps, counters, and burn spells. I love that key processor abilities can't be countered.

I finally made it to 40 over the weekend (by far my most successful deck--I'm not very good, just like to put fun decks together) but I'm sure it could be improved. I'd really appreciate any input. Here it is:

Creatures
2 x Benthic Infiltrator
2 x Blight Herder
2 x Culling Drone
2 x Dust Stalker
3 x Mist Intruder
1 x Oblivion Sower
1 x Sire of Stagnation
2 x Sludge Crawler
2 x Smothering Abomination
3 x Tide Drifter
3 x Ulamog's Nullifier
3 x Vile Aggregate
2 x Wasteland Strangler

Planeswalker
1 x Ob Nixilis Reignited

Instant
2 x Brutal Expulsion
2 x Titan's Presence

Sorcery
2 x Radiant Flames
1 x Part the Waterveil

Land
4 x Island
3 x Mountain
3 x Swamp
4 x Evolving Wilds
2 x Sunken Hollow
2 x Dragonskull Summit
2 x Drowned Catacomb
2 x Sulfur Falls
2 x Smoldering Marsh

Sideboard
1 x Aligned Hedron Network

Link to deck @ TappedOut.net

Remarks:

I recently realized this is all BFZ cards, don't know what to make of that. As I mentioned, Vile Aggregate was a large inspiration for this deck, he's big when he hits the board on turn 3, and with a turn 5 Blight Herder opponents have to find an answer fast.

Tide Drifter does a lot for this deck--he helps everyone survive sweeps, stalls aggro, turns a group of chumps into a strong line of defense, and makes Vile Aggregate and
Dusk Stalker much scarier.

Blight Herder and Smothering Abomination have excellent synergy, and give you an overwhelming card advantage.

Well-timed Ulamog's Nullifier, Dust Stalker, or Brutal Expulsion can change the game.

Ob Nixilis and Sire of Stagnation are awesome and must be dealt with.

Part the Waterveil has both been a win condition and helped me out of some tight spots.

I tried out Ulamog but he was a dead draw or stayed in my hand 95% of the time. He's an obvious win, but I rarely got to play him with no ramp. He would be nice to have with Titan's Presence though.

I did a lot of back and forth between 2x Radiant Flames or adding Aligned Hedron Network, but I got much more value from Radiant Flames, and found myself hoping to draw it much more often than Aligned Hedron Network. Quick, numerous aggro/elves/tokens/chumps are much more of a problem for this deck than big guys.

I'm not sure I have the best mix of Ingesters, but they all have their merits.

Thanks for your input!

Eldrazi Slightly Aggro

4 x Salvage Drone
3 x Tide Drifter
4 x Mist Lurker
4 x Benthic Infiltrator
3 x Inspiration
1 x Ulamog's Reclaimer

2 x Necromantic Summons
3 x Rise from the Grave

3 x Vile Aggregate

1 x Oblivion Sower
1 x Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

3 x Forerunner of Slaughter
2 x Ulamog's Nulliefier
2 x Dust Stalker
1 x Sire of Stagnation

6 x Islands
2 x Swamp
2 x Mountain
2 x Smoldering Marsh
2 x Sunken Hollow
2 x Drowned Catacomb
2 x Sulfur Falls
2 x Dragonskull Summit
3 x Mortuary Mire

Strategy: Basically play lots of creatures akin to RDW/Boros to keep pressure up. The whole Ingest theme makes sure it does so even more by possibly removing threats.

Thanks, I still find this deck the most fun to play even if you occasionally have to curse the Mosstards!

I made a small change which improved the deck I think (-2 Esperzoa, -3 Runed Servitor, +4 Salvage Drone, +1 Necromantic Summons).

Keep at it. Liked your first list of changes. The day I don't see Moss is the day I play your deck :p

Talent of the Telepath has been working well for me in this deck, last night I cast it on T5 with spell mastery active and hit 2x Nissa's Renewal!! ramped me 6 mana and gained 14 life for 4CMC :D

The only problem I am having is early game consistency so I am thinking of trying to get 3x Telling Time in there, will play around later to see what can be done.

I just played a ranked match (40 vs 40) he was playing mono green ramp and luckily I started on the play because the shiister mossed me 3 turns in a row. Lucky for me though I managed to get down two Tutelages and together with the salvage drone alters reap block sac combo managed to mill him out the turn before he was going to cast Ulamog (because he fetched it from his graveyard with warden).

Eat that stupid moss!

Final version after lots of testing:

Where Ma Cards @?

4 x Salvage Drone
1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
3 x Telling Time
3 x Altar's Reap
2 x Fleshbag Marauder
3 x Sphinx's Tutelage
2 x Radiant Flames
3 x Act of Treason
1 x Akoum Firebird
1 x Aligned Hedron Network
2 x Talent of the Telepath
4 x Brilliant Spectrum
1 x Languish
1 x Cruel Revival
2 x Necromantic Summons
1 x Ob Nixilis Reignited
1 x Oblivion Sower
1 x Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

1 x Plains
5 x Island
3 x Swamp
2 x Mountain
1 x Shambling Vent
2 x Smoldering Marsh
2 x Sunken Hollow
1 x Prairie Stream
1 x Drowned Catacomb
1 x Clifftop Retreat
2 x Sulfur Falls
2 x Dragonskull Summit
1 x Evolving Wilds

You can shift a few cards around but this deck will win with mill most of the time and telling time really helps pretty much any time to get the right pieces you need. Ulamog mill is also fairly common with a T8 play of Summons+Treason being deadly.

Early game your first priority is getting out Tutelage if you have it and second is land fixing, if you can stabilize with good land this deck is very tough to beat... Take it for a spin an tell me what you think :teach:

Edit: Dropped vial for an evolving wilds to try and help early game mana.

Just tested. I love it. Very funny. As you said some cards can be shifted but I just played once so I need a few more games to give you a better opinion. Thank you DarkShock

Thanks PifPaf, i'm still messing around with the land I am trying dropping the alchemist vial and adding 1 evolving wilds. Everything else feels solid and I love TotT in this meta you hit such juicy spells :)

Biggest weakness is enchantment landfall decks as there is no way to destroy or counter them so you need to pray for early Tutelage and go for the supermill!

Two matches - two defeats  but no lands in the first game, and not a single card for mill for the second... Anyways, I really think I was unlucky. I lost two times versus deck allies without having good cards and it resist well. I hesitate in changing cards but if I have to, I will look for speeding the deck. I played lots of games against IA before to master it and I still find the deck awesome when it runs well. definitely a good one for me

Yeah it's just one of those decks that when it works it blows the opponent away, and surprises them quite often, but some games it can really struggle to get going. I made the edit of dropping vial for a evo wilds yesterday and it seems to help things.

Hi im also playing a similar deck (as -DarksShock-) after testing many mill decks with different colours (usually 2 colors max) and this is version definetaly the funniest one after testing it a bit.

The reason i added red was because it counters several decks (aggro etc) / cards quite effective (in addition with black) and black for using the creatures from the enemies after it got milled

Usualy i ended the game before i even had enough mana to cast Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger (thus never had more than 10 mana in a game), so therefore i dont include this into my deck - i won the game either due milling them down, using their creatures (after they got milled or from their own spell) or Priest of the Blood Rite

Bone Splinters x 3
Jace, Vryn's Prodigy x 1
Sigiled Starfish x 2
Carrier Thrall x 3
Telling Time x 3
Fiery Conclusion x 1
Twin Bolt x 2
Eldrazi Skyspawner x 3
Sphinx's Tutelage x 3
Radiant Flames x 2
Whirler Rogue x 3
Languish x 2
Mire's Malice x 1 (still debatting if i either use Brilliant Spectrum or Talent of the Telepath)
Possessed Skaab x 1
Ob Nixilis Reignited x 1
Priest of the Blood Rite x 2
Necromantic Summons x 3
Sire of Stagnation x 1

Land 23

Island x 4
Swamp x 4
Mountain x 2
Drowned Catacomb x 2
Sunken Hollow x 2
Sulfur Falls x 2
Dragonskull Summit x 2
Mortuary Mire x 1
Evolving Wilds x 4

Hi Hao, i'm not seeing any draw cards in your list so it cannot really be a mill deck, you should replace the Tutelage with something else like Act of Treason. If your game plan is to reanimate the opponents creatures then you probably need more than 3 rez spells and you can't underestimate the Rez/treason combo for 8 mana.

Greetings i agree thats it not a good mill deck due the lack of drawing cards (though Sire did a good work in the games so far) - but Tutelage is quite funny to achieve the resurrections of opponent creatures, also had a game where i casted their Ulamog on turn 5 haha.

I assume you mean to cast Act of Treason, then sac and then to reanimate it? I only got 4 sac spells in this deck so far, so 1 Act of Treason should be fine for that?

Think ill add more cards which gives me card draw in this case then ... any suggestions which cards i should cut or put into (1 Mire Malice and 1 Necromatic summons so far)? Probably gonna add Brilliant Spectrum or the card which gives me 2 card and drop 1 card if i dont control an artifact.

The Rez/Treason combo is that you can Resurrect a big creature like Ulamog and then immediately give it Haste with act of treason so the opponent cannot kill it before it has a chance to attack unless they were saving an instant and had the mana open for it.
