19 game streak in Versus with the deck above?

It's not a bad looking deck, and it was running well.

However, he is on XBone, so...yeah.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::chairhit:

He was playing a bunch of bad decks for the most part, for the 6-7 games I watched. I'd watch all of them, but 19 games is a long time and I could be playing some games.

I do like the deck and it has me wanting to make a better-tuned version for my playstyle...probably tomorrow.

@NATASHA6,

Not too shabby. Don't worry about using the decklist thingy, just put deck tags around your list, works better.
Your voice was pretty low so whatever you were saying was barely audible. Pretty good gameplay, didn't see really blatant mistakes in any of the games I watched.

Overall, Good Job! You should try to get in the next Tourney.

There were plenty of small gameplay mistakes - I call out most/alot of them in my commentary! There were some scrubby decks and good decks - I'd say 60/40 to 50/50 possibly slightly in favor of good. Of course, I am not saying anything about opponent play quality.

I realize the audio was crappy and tried to make some mid stream adjustments based on viewer's feedback. I need to get a mic/headset so I can get better audio than the kinect provides. First time broadcast, so I expected it to be a bit bumpy.

Oh, I understand...my first broadcasts I posted on YouTube (incidentally, it was also 5CC) my audio was pretty spectacularly rotten. A good quality headset is worth it if you do it somewhat regularly.

Also, break up the broadcast...5.5 hours is too long. :D

Yeah, Acid Moss is ridiculous.

I would've done a shorter broadcast....but the streak stopped me. Eventually I was forced to stop by a football game - lol

I resumed play after Pittsburgh won, the win streak officially ended at 21. So 21-1.

It would be unfair to say Pittsburg won...more like Cincinnati lost. Which is fine, they were acting like jackasses.

Vontaze Burfict almost won the game by taking out Ben.. then he decided to lose the game by headhunting Brown. But.. regardless.. that was a pretty entertaining game.

I am considering updating "Pay to Play" (the 5cc deck I posted) to omit Disciple of the Ring, and Part the Waterveil. What would you suggest for the 2 new cards?

On card quality (and tight play) this deck can usually defeat other control decks in the long game, so aggro decks are more of a concern. So far my contenders are Jaddi Offshoot, Gatecreeper Vine, Reclamation Sage, and Woodland Wanderer. The first three all improve my Woodland Bellower package. All of them are improvements against aggro. Does anyone have any other anti-aggro tech that should be considered? Preferred colors would be green or white since the deck is most likely to have access to these colors the earliest.

Bengals lost during Playoffs. Pittsburg wins during Playoffs. Business as usual.

TBH, I'd put in the Gatecreepers. Fixing your mana and getting an early blocker against aggro is clutch.

I've been playing your original version and doing pretty good with it. Have lots of cards clogging up my hand due to not having the right mana every other game or so, but I still win most of them due to the deck's overall power level.

Which are you liking better, the original or your modified Naya build?

Naya, tbh. It has all the strong parts of you 5cc (land destruction, ramp, removal, Eldrazi package) with less mana issues. It is also more resilient to opposing acid moss, which is a problem for all 5CC decks.

The best solution to an opposing Acid Moss imo has been having a natural connection in hand, and then acid mossing back

That, and going first. As always in a ramp on ramp matchup, whoever goes first is heavily favored because the other player will always be too far behind on resources.

Woodland Wanderer should be auto-include for these decks?

Updating my 5CC list to account for changes in the meta.

3 x Jaddi Offshoot
3 x Skyrider Elf
2 x Pilgrim's Eye
1 x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
4 x Natural Connection
2 x Radiant Flames
2 x From Beyond
3 x Brilliant Spectrum
2 x Woodland Wanderer
2 x Languish
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar
2 x Angelic Edict
2 x Planar Outburst
1 x Ob Nixilis Reignited
1 x Greenwarden of Murasa
1 x Oblivion Sower
2 x Nissa's Renewal
1 x Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

2 x Plains
2 x Island
2 x Swamp
1 x Mountain
4 x Forest
2 x Smoldering Marsh
2 x Sunken Hollow
2 x Cinder Glade
2 x Canopy Vista
2 x Prairie Stream
4 x Evolving Wilds

So, changes...took out Kiora, Rolling Thunder, and 1 Brilliant Spectrum for 3 Skyrider Elves. Kiora wasn't really doing much for the deck; she does dig well for lands and creatures, but the deck has good spells it would rather not ditch without having a choice. Rolling Thunder is a good card in any deck like this that gets out lots of lands, but with Red being a minor color, getting 2 Red out sometimes a challenge. 4 Brilliant Spectrum was showing itself to be too much of a good thing, so I cut it back to 3. In its place I put in 3 Skyrider Elves for early to late game threats, especially to Planeswalkers. An early Walker has been a challenge for this deck to deal with, so using a few low-cost early creatures has helped fill that void while simultaneously giving aggro something beefy to deal with. It also provides more threats for control to deal with.

Any comments/concerns welcome
