I got Sunless Sea, Poker Night 2, and Final Fantasy VI

I bought CS:GO, LA Noire, Portal 2, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

I bought like, half a dozen games for $42. My most notable acquisition was Undertale.

I bought the talos principle, grim fandango and some other things I forgot.

I guess I'll be the cynic, then. Steam screwed up on a grand scale. This is yet another straw on top of a veritable haystack that points to blatant disregard for their service and their customers.

I know about it. It happened for a few hours on Christmas day and I'm sure everyone was on vacation that day. Everything was fixed in the end so it doesn't really matter to me.

Do you mean the one here on NGA, or is there some official place? Because Wizards has historically shown they don't really care about their fanbase and/or playerbase and, believe it or not with how much I grouse about it, I hold Valve and Steam up to a relatively high standard.

I had heard that people were seeing other people's accounts, but that was a bout it and I'm not sure why it was a big deal, and I'm not going to read some long thing from Biscuit or watch a youtube video. What I'm saying is, I need a TL;DR.

As for which games I've gotten: none yet, but I've been looking at a few. I am a bit of a penny pincher, and I always have an issue hitting that last "buy this" button.

As for the cache thing, it seems like it is something that wasn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Sure, someone MIGHT have been able to get the CC info of someone, but until it is shown that it happened, I'm not convinced anybody did.

The extreme paths (nice to everyone and befriending vs grinding each area for kills until a certain point) are really different experiences. They are worth it imo. They even highlight other parts of the story.

True enough, but the Tom Scott video is only 7 and is more objective since he's not invested in the video game scene and is more interested in explaining computer-wise what happened and how it could have.

So I got Tom Clancy's The Division this week.

I played about two or so hours the first night, and when I went back to try and play it today it has become unplayable. Something is wonky with the lighting, where the lights just get stronger and stronger until I can't see anything. So yeah, I'm kind of pissed.

Of course, it probably has to do with the fact that I don't have DirectX 11 on this PC, because I had to redownload win64 a while back and have lost my product code. So it won't update it for some reason.
