Nice deck Hakeem, I dropped a couple of creature so I could include Nisa and Kiora as this deck is great at stalling while their ults build up then its GG.

Since I'm always the black sheep and I don't have a ramp deck yet I wanted to make something that was more then just your typical gruul and selesnya decks. so without further ado give you

Nice GIF too, though Kiora's -2 is so strong you musn't use its ultimate often that's too bad ^^

I might give it a try with a few personnal choices :
-2 From Beyond
-1 Oblivion Sower
-1 Plated Crusher
-2 lands

+2 Lumbering Falls
+2 Outland Colossus, (with so much counter/tap could be worth it)
+2 Clutch of Currents / Reclamation Sage, last Nevius stream exposed the real Clut of currents potential to me, Artefact/Enchant hate woulnt hurt too.

Did you get to test some of these in your list ?

outland colossus isn't good enough if you can't make him unblockable. and really with all of the "big stuff" hate he's not good enough period

from beyond is an amazing card, wouldn't cut it for anything. and because I won't cut from beyond I won't cut the second best eldrazi, oblivion sower

why would I bounce things with clutch; I'm a ramp deck not a tempo deck

singleton reclamation sage is a consideration but the only enchantment really out there atm is from beyond so it's pretty much useless

First of all don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to prove you wrong or something. On the contrary, i'm trying to figure out why your choices are better than mine :sweat:

For instance, I thought Eldrazi Devastator was the 2nd best Eldrazi for ramp ?
Oblivion sower has been pretty inconsistent for me, but in 20-25 games in the deck i haven't seen him much (most of the time searched for Ulamog with From Beyond). With Nissa, 4x Pilgrimage, 4x Moss, 2 From beyond and 2 Adverse conditions do you really need the ramp from him ?

I know Clutch isn't pure ramp (neither is Spell Shrivel :D), but with only 3 trample creature and the addition of 2 Colossus in mind I thought it might prove usefull (and its awaken is a nice addition too).


I guess i'm just torn between Simic Ramp and Tempo, still looking for the right balance (if that is ever possible)...

I guess that's because it would hurt the whole mana management while only benefiting to Skyrider Elf wich is most of the time cast for 2/3/4 CMC anyway.

Woodland Wanderer is 4CMC so it won't benefit from a 5th color.

This deck takes a lot after Hakeem's old Orgins tempo deck. Bounce your opponent's stuff while advancing your board, as well as countermagic.

Updated Simic tokens deck, for fun, but works decent too. Not every deck is number 1 kick butt deck, so I don't claim this one to be. But it is quite unique and fun

*edit you know what, it isn't as bad as I sell it. It does win and is pretty fun.

Appreciate any feedback, just looking to make it stronger if possible. Might need to add some lifegain for protection

After a bunch of testing with both, realised chorus is an overall better card at simply more expense.

If I'm playing 3-5 drop to increase my board state, my creatures don't have haste anyway so they sit on the board waiting until next turn to attack. When that happens, I've got the 4 mana needed for chorus , it's a better card overall, and the more expensive mana cost doesn't bother me at that point

Originally the deck had both spells but couldn't / didn't want to fit them all in
