Actually, that one is surprisingly possible.

Chardis is one of the epic baddies of the M:EM, along with his sister Syl. They've been involved with Arbagoth before. The plane was... not happy with the results.
Aria is one of our lower-powered wanderers. Chardis has harassed the hell out of characters like this before.
Alessa is one of the more capable "do-gooders" though how much good she does is kinda variable. She can also see the future, so meeting with her on Arbagoth bodes ill for Chardis.

Oddly, the prom prompt seems to have broken and is only returning no-complications proms. or did someone edit it?

I've noticed that, too. I haven't touched the generator since the prom prompt was added, so I'm not sure what changed, but we should be able to fix it, whatever the problem is.

The Generator is getting really subtle about being mean to Beryl, huh?

Okay, so I've been working on untangling the knots in the prom thread for the last three hours or so, and I've learned I'm just not cut out for reading computer syntax. I can't figure it out. I got it to call more than just the first sentence by removing a couple of random brackets that served no purpose (open brackets after the word "hard" in a couple places, and "gently" in one or two more.) But now it won't call at least one of the people involved. So I'm giving up.

What I don't understand, though, is that when Tevish first posted the prompt, it worked just fine. Did someone edit it? If so, do you remember what you did? Because somehow, this prompt got entirely messed up, and with how complex the prompt is anyway, it's beyond my ability to fix it.

My money is on Chardis subtly trying to make them break up, there's a precedent of her inviting him to a party u_u

...or Aloise just got a crippling crush? That's not a good thing.

All I know is at least Aloise won't have to change her pick up line.

I think I found the prom prompt problem. There's a part that ends with "best night ever!]]", and it's missing a closing bracket (i.e. it should be "best night ever!]]]"). (And that's the only instance of "best night ever", so you should be able to search the file for that phrase to easily find the place with the missing bracket).

Hey, that worked! Again, thanks, Zatnik! How did you manage to find that? I'm impressed, it was virtually impenetrable to me, even after I thought I had a solid process down. I'll fix it in the main prompt in a second, but I just wanted to post the third one it produced in my test...


This is just...wow.

It helped that I use Notepad++, which, if the cursor is next to a bracket, highlights the opposing bracket. Using that, I started testing brackets that looked like they enclosed major sections, and eventually I found a pair that looked weird, so I added a bracket to remove the weirdness, and that fixed it.
