I have 40 dust and my current deck is complete unless I'm gonna save up for the 1-of Dr. Boom. now is when I decide what to build next.

I also got King Mukla which I should probably dust

So what are thoughts on Rafaam?

A more aggressive Ysera. Which is still really slow. I could see some decks playing him over The Dreamer.

Ysera does things a turn sooner (possibly), and can't be killed by BGH. The health total on Ysera is also such that it's easier to silence and ignore the thing than to ram creatures into it.

So today I was fatigue warrior vs fatigue priest. AWFUL awful game. But it ended entertaining.

He had a Malygos on the board. I had 27 health and 4 armor and the Justicar Trueheart effect (no board but a 5/1 gorehowl). He was out of cards in his deck, and he had 4 cards in hand.

Sooooo.... it took him until he reached fatigue 5 to realize that I was not going to play anything. I mean..... why would I? I'm happy to go back and forth between 27 and 31 until the priest is dead. I have some 8-odd cards left in my deck at this point and am in no hurry (I intentionally procced his Acolytes of Pain multiple times).

It turns out he had a sylvanas, two light of the naaru, and that 6 mana heal 5 deal 5 damage card. Vs a fatigue warrior with 31 health and an 8 card hand he let me get, that was easy.

They are different cards, yes.
Although I don't know how you reached the conclusion that Ysera does something a turn sooner.

I don't think it was a fatigue priest if it ran acolyte of pain.
I certainly don't think it was if it ran Malygos.

I didn't say it was a GOOD fatigue priest. But I don't have another name for "stall stall stall".

If Rafaam eats a BGH, none of his cards are that good if you are behind. And since they are all 10 mana, they are your entire turn. Ysera at least has the chance to get Ysera Awakens for 2 mana, and if you get either of the other 2 spells you can at least combo them with other things in your hand.

I assume he would have something to use Malygos with, and could therefore be classified as a Freeze Priest (which is a stupid name, but whatever).
Or just control Priest. Priests tend to stall.

Ysera and Rafaam are both 9 drops that give you a card to play you can't play until your next turn (barring shenanigans). There are situations in which Dream cards are not optimal, and there are situations in which the Powerful Artifacts are not optimal.

what is the Tinkmaster for, by the way? seems really unreliable

Big nasty dudes with big nasty deathrattles, such as Tirion, Sneed's, Rhonin (especially backed with Effigy/Duplicate), Anub'arak, Malorne (probably spawned from Webspinner) or Ancestral'd KT.

Since this deck pretty much never has anything on its own side of the field, has multiple ways to clear the rest of the opposing board to ensure that polymorph hits the right target and isn't particularly afraid of a textless 5/5, Tinkmaster works well in it. Still, if you'd rather not deal with RNG and don't care about style points, an owl is OK too.

I kind of want to try that. Rumbling Elemental is quite nice.
Feel like I should have Mistcaller and/or Neptulon for that though.

it's really irritating that Innkeeper is PC-only. it seems really helpful for new players.

Innkeeper is a deck tracking program.

Since I can literally google it and the first 5 links are innkeeper for IOS, I might have no idea what razorborne means either.

I thought it was the AI battle against the Innkeeper, but that being PC exclusive seemed highly weird.

The game is made in unity, which has built in thingies for pc and mac I can't imagine any reason for it to not have everything on both

I was referring to this, the Hearthpwn-integrated one. apparently other programs also use the name, which makes sense since it's obvious, but I don't actually need a thing to track my collection, hearthstone itself does that just fine. what makes Hearthpwn's interesting is that then it can recommend decks that I can build with my collection and with my available dust.

Well, they invented a new kind of zoo in which reliquary seeker is... pretty good.

I'm not sure how I feel about casting a boom, a nerubian egg, and a 5/5 reliquary seeker on turn 10 (trading like 4 different minions to make room), but it is certainly interesting, and a couple of people have made it to legend with a list like this.

I've been thinking about it, and here in my opinion are the 5 worst legendaries out of all the ones I have used:

5. Millhouse Manastorm
4. Wilfred Fizzlebang
3. Gruul
2. Bolf Ramshield
1. Hemet Nesingwary

There are A LOT of bad legendaries out there, but when you get down to it they have all given me SOME use, somewhere, where the card was, if not right for the job, then at least useful in a specific situation where I had a reason to run and use it. Wilfred and Hemet? .... Never really happened. Bolf Ramshield and Gruul are literally the last two legendaries I would craft in their respsective sets (in fact Gruul is one tinkmaster overspark away from fulfilling that dream) for similar reasons.

And Millhouse........ there's a special kind of fail that makes you want to start up a youtube channel. This. This is one of those cards that does that.

The best Piloted Shredder plays involve it dropping a doomsayer, and an enemy Sylvanas
