Since it's a white card with a bigger back than a front, I prefer to think of it as an excellent blocker! Perhaps I should have given it Defender, lol.

why did my extremely boring and bland card do poorly in this contest

I wanted it to be like the moonhold cycle from shadowmoor block: you get some value if you're in one color, you get some value if you're in the other color, but you get super value if you're in both. It does make the card a bit ugly though.

Critique would be nice, though I have a feeling the instant discard part is probably why I placed lower half.

Tevish Szat -- Yeah, Instant discard just shouldn't really be a thing in my eyes, the other abilities were creative.
