I did stuff like this way back in 2004 in MPFG and figured I might try and see if we can get this started again.

The basic outline is the following:
Interested people will submit their decklist to me through PM and post in thread.
I will randomize the decks using either MWS or random.org, depending on my mood.
I will make an excelsheet for myself with all 4 shuffled decklists and use this information to send everybody hands and draws each turn through PM.
Because I need the decklists I obviously won't be playing myself. If someone else wants to host one in the future, that's fine though.

After that, it's just a matter of post what you do. Preferably in the following manner:



Different is fine, as long as we know what happened each turn.

This is actually really cool. I'd need to build a deck though, which isn't going to happen for commander any time soon lol. Commander decks take me weeks to make.

You know, over at MTG Deck Builder there are decks from hundreds of users. If you just search up EDH or hit "Random Deck" enough times you'll come up with something to play with.

I'd be up for something like this too... I used to play games on the old magic boards. One of my favorite ways to test out decks.
Commander is one of the hardest ones to do, because it usually entails multiple people. I would love to participate, but not right now. I need sleep.

I am also able to randomize my deck myself, unless you're absolutely dying to get decklists.

When we did this at MPFG, Chartreuse_Lotus was the user that did this most of the time. Almost always with a Pentagram setup. So 5 players. We rarely had any difficulty, unless a player would suddenly disappear.
The reason I want decklists is because I think that a non-playing person giving out draws and randomizing is the most guaranteed honest way to play a multiplayer game over forums.

So basically a text duel?


The problem with multiplayer text duels are that they take ages. Even just a 1 vs 1 takes quite a while which is why I stopped.

Though apparently given public reaction to the singleton draft and this that I'm just super impatient.

Depends pretty much on how active everyone stays.
