I thought people might mention no Perilous Myr, I guess I undervalue Bone Splinters as well... maybe this deck sucks, looks like nearly every other decklist is running them. It has been working pretty good for me though.

That's pretty close to my list.. but I don't run the Graveblades, Gravediggers, or Shadows.. I run 4x Myr and the 4th Reave Soul.

How much stuff do you actually hit with Reave? Always under performs for me so I typically do 3 bone splinters 2 reave soul

The Elf god draws are hard to beat.. put you in Languish-or-die mode.. same as Thopters. Glad you liked it BB.

I think Reave Soul is fine, even if you're simply trading it for some measly 2 drop creature. We are playing control so slowing down the game works for me. It only goes up in value later in the game when it can hit things like Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen and Lys Alana Huntmaster. Other times I use it to remove things so my Fleshbag Marauder can hit the correct targets. It can kill all the planeswalkers pre-flip too which can come in handy on top of other various powerful creatures that I won't bother mentioning.

It's not great but it gets the job done and rarely ever would I mind seeing one in my hand. And for the off chance there really isn't anything to use it on, I suppose it can be Liliana, Heretical Healer discard fodder.

Bone Splinters just feels bad when using it even if you're 2 for 2ing with a Perilous Myr. You lose value on Perilous Myr and weaken your board just to deal with something there's other answers for. It also costs you Evolutionary Leap targets which could just dig you a big creature to contest theirs. I wouldn't recommend anyone using it but that's just me. There's enough removal in the deck already and a ton of fatties to trade with if need be.

The only deck Reave Soul sucks against is Gruul Monsters. There's good targets for it in every other list.
