BTW, I've yet to add a foe but if still let's you see when they post something with the option to open that post, that isn't a good ignore feature. Most people can't resist peeking when an enemy is saying something but you don't know what

If it instead makes them completely invisible and you are no longer aware that they even exist, that's a stronger ignore mechanism which leads to more harmonious forums

First of all, this should probably be a conversation for the Forum Feature Requests thread.

Second, it's not like you can block someone's post when not logged in, so you'll see them if you're ever on a different device anyway. If you already don't get along with someone anyway, you'll be mentally ignoring their posts before you physically do it anyway. To add to the "you'll see the posts anyway" pool, it's not like the forum can automatically block out when people quote the person you've blocked, so again it comes down to mentally ignoring the person, which the current system works fine for.

I don't have the discipline to mentally ignore someone

My log in happens automatically on all my devices so I don't have that particular issue. And if I did, the first thing I do is login, not browse the forum.
