This looks fantastic!

Is there a chance we could get buttons at the bottom of the articles to share stuff on social media? I mean not that it's critical but it'd be awesome to be able to shoot these off to the M:EM twitter and tumblr with a couple clicks.

Hah, his czarship is limited! Mine's the best one.
Also nice to meet you Adam, unless you are somebody I already know, in which case, just "nice to".

I'm happy it's there and the work on it has been great I am sure. It does look a little...drab? Bare-bones? I think it needs a banner or something, or at least a little color?

Hey, my name is mentioned!

I'm working on banners and color, don't worry!

Sounds like plenty of reason to worry.

I think we should bump recently updated columns to the top of the page for better readability. Follow gatheringmagic.com's cue, basically.

Whoa. I only just now checked the front page. Great stuff! And kinda cool to be a part of the longest running game at the moment.
Woot.

I'm starting up an introductory game of D&D intended for newer players to D&D and/or to the Play by Post section of our community. I'm interested in getting the word out to members who don't frequent that side of the boards. As such, I would greatly appreciate it if a link to my sign up thread would show up on the front page, even if it was just for a day or so.

Link

Thanks.

I'll go ahead and say that if this did get to the front page, it's filled up now and can probably be safely taken down.

I think this thread has been an announcement long enough. I'm going to move it to the metaboard now. Feel free to continue discussing the Front Page, but we don't really need this space for it anymore.

This. So much this. Especially seeing as so many columns don't update. I update every week, but you won't even notice unless you scroll down the page. I think write ups should move left to right then down a row as new articles go up.
Also we should all pitch in and do card right ups for Raz's daily card column. And maybe make it weekly or something.

oh yeah I should probably do those. but NGAC sort of fizzled out so there's not much to say. which is sad 'cause it was awesome but only a couple people got really into it and most of them got too busy to keep going. I'm really glad it exists though.

Yeah it's a lot of work for me to keep churning out blurbs about interesting competitive cards with my schedule. I think a daily ngac card is a great way to spotlight the format and having people who approach the game differently is a good thing.

The learning curve for ngac is too high and it's basically worse than vintage. Someone should really fix that and maybe people would care. Or someone try and do like ngac FNMS and stuff.

Yeah, we really need a standard format. It's actually been good recently how we haven't been getting as many sets as that allows actually headway into the format to be made(for instance, the consensus is that GW Convoke is a completely busted deck atm, and that Storm is unacceptably good). But yeah.

The everleague concept that was floated a while back would do the trick I think.
