I mean when overseer resolves I just usually accept that I have lost. With Messenger I usually try spend a few turns trying to kill it before realizing that my hand is empty, I lost 4 life in the process, and they will just reanimate it somehow. Somehow this is more frustrating.

Do I need to be the one to say it?

All is Dust ruined a meticulously put together smash-mouth army of 9/9 first strike Golems and other tasties last night in a ffa.
This morning it runs first in the most hated category.

They stayed but every thing else went. Troy knew that would happen and had answers for them.
The fact that it wiped everything else that was enabling me to create the army is what pissed me off.

I have to agree with Terramorphic Expanse. The choice to include them over some form of dual lands put all three 3-color decks at the bottom of the pack, when they could have otherwise been (semi) competitive. It's a decision that made the meta much weaker, and was completely unnecessary (given modders have demonstrated the engine can support dual lands). Those three decks struggle even when they get all of the right lands. Including some form of dual lands would have reduced their inconsistency problems but definitely would not have made those decks overpowering.

It's especially annoying for Hall of Champions, which is potentially a very good deck, unlike SH and ETD. But any deck that loses a healthy percentage of its games due to color screw can't be considered good, no matter how fun it is to run when it actually hits its mana.

For me, the biggest "Oh, ****" card has to be Umezawa's Jitte. That card wins games and depletes the board like nothing else I face. For my money, the only decks that don't fear it are creatureless D&B or maybe UB, if you get some fatties out quick. After that, a turn 2 Jitte is pretty much lights out.
