Lost Vikings are hilarious. I've not figured out how to pull really good numbers with them yet (no active abilities is strange). I also haven't seen a good reason to split up.

However, they're AMAZING at keeping enemy heroes from escaping. Between Olaf's charge and Erik's speed and range I get a LOT of killing blows.

I'm guessing Blizzard decided that it was hard enough to micromanage three mini-heroes at once, even without adding active skills into the mix.

If you split up you cover more ground, which is good for providing map vision and/or experience farming. You could, for example, send one viking to soak XP in a side lane while you support teamfights with the other two.

One thing I didn't notice with the Vikings at first is that they have a trait (not a talent) which increases the base health regeneration for all vikings whenever they collect a health globe. So sending one viking to each lane instead of keeping them all together lets you get triple the health globes.

Vikings get actives later but they are shared. Right now splitting them up really sucks because of how the camera works. idealy though, you split them up into three lanes and gain x3 experience from minions dying near them.

I thought teams gained EXP all at once so it didn't matter where you were?

XP is shared but each player gains XP based on their kills and minions that die near them/they kill. So if you have a good team or good micromanaging skills you can hide vikings in bushes or near the back of a lane and just soak up xp like a sponge.

Never played MOBAs before, tried this one today.

Is it just me, or is Azmodan awesome?

Azmodan is indeed awesome. So is Sylvanas, Jaina, Zagara, Nazeebo and Valla. Well, I like ranged characters a lot more than melee.

Let's talk about Anub'arak. Anub'arak is awesome.

Need a tank? Anub'arak's got your back. Anub'arak makes beetles that soak damage for you. He has his own personal shield. Can you harden your carapace like Anub can? I didn't think so. Anub'arak has so much sustain with Locust Swarm and Blood for Blood that he could keep Greece's economy afloat.

Need some crowd control? Anub'arak's your beetle. Anub'arak's nuke can stun you from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Anub'arak can Burrow Charge into your face and wreck your **** while you're still standing slack-jawed at his magnificence. Or he body blocks you with his swole abdomen while you're busy running from his team. Then he Rewinds and does it again. Just because. Don't **** with Anub'arak.

Need to push? Anub'arak pushes down towers for fun. Your pansy towers ain't no Nerubian Towers. Anub solos merc camps and Burrow Charges out before you can say "Holy Nexus that's a huge-*** beetle." He's got so many beetles following him around, he's like his own creep wave. He wipes out your whole minion army with one right click. He's so hot the crowd is Burning. Anub is the King.

I'm playing Anub'arak all day every day. Are you?

Pretty awesome writeup. I only have a few heroes I still need to get to level 5, anub is one of them. I was playing him for a bit but then he rotated out )-: I was trying out a new talent build where I let my beetles do all the work - extra damage, restore health to anub, auto generate every 8 seconds, and can grow big from killing a minion.

I have a few 'mains' but mostly I just play whoever I bought most recently (these days I buy every new hero as soon as the price drops to 10,000 gold). I tried the extra damage trait on Kharazim instead of the heal trait but I didn't really like it, I have to actually hearth out or use fountains when he's not healing himself constantly.

Played a little with him last week, and he was a lot more fun than I thought he'd be. I did the beetle talents as well, and they worked out pretty well.

I think Anub is one of the most fun warriors to play. He's so mobile and damaging that he feels like an assassin sometimes. The drawback is that he's not as durable as other warriors in the tank role, so you have to be a bit more cautious with positioning and Burrow Charging.

You do make a valid point. I bloody hate Warrior dailies. Maybe I should just buy Anub'arak. I almost have 10,000 gold....

Anub is 4000, last I saw.

I actually don't have a problem with Warrior dailies. I own Muradin, ETC, and Anub'arak, and they're all great fun to play. It's not every day you can just waltz into the enemy team and knock them around like ten pins, you know?

I don't mind which class dailies I get as long as I don't get the same class twice in a row. I wish I got more warrior dailies during the weeks arthas or anub were free

Anub was one of the first guys I played and probably the most fun warrior.
