Who is this Adam? What's his handle and where is more of his post? This doesn't sound like any of the writing i've seen in the limited forums. It is extremely well informed good piece of material on limited theory. I hope to read much more of your ideas. Thank you
Forum Suggestion:
"
Bear Fight"
Anatomy of the Red Zone To block or not to block that is the question.
When do you chose to trade, how do you value your 2/2 over there 2/2. Like do I have more cards in hand? Do they? Do I tap-out Main phase 1 to signal to my opponent I wish to trade and have no objection to any blocks or tricks you'd like to do. Do i not attack and wait for my opp to initiate action to gather more info? is that 2/2 going to be needed for a future chump block or alpha strike? Do i have a better upgraded creature to throw out after combat? Are they playing in a way where they are going to upgrade there board or is their 2/2 the last line of defense. Does my Opp show colors or previous spells that could put the 2/2 out of trade range
Goblin War paint,
Earthen Arms? Early Role Assessment could also factor into these decisions.
It seems like this topic could go on with hundred of situations and examples. where the correct answer may not be apparent. Seems so simple, 2/2's in the redzone. Yet brings the most important in-game decisions.
