I mean neither game is right if you're looking for constant action but they've got some of the most fantastic writing I've seen in anything and lore that in my opinion has enough room to allow for an Expanded Multiverse project, which is really most of what I look for in games.

They're slow and atmospheric, and I honestly like that about them.

Also they allow me to make extremely self destructive decisions which is great.

Luna if you start playing Fallen London you should add me, I'll give you rats. ... That's better than it sounds I swear.

Wait I was under the impression that Fallen London was like... some sort of really old roleplaying forum or... like a community-built expanded universe of fanficitons based on no one's IP (I found it hard to resist calling that concept a Stand Alone Complex). I was also under the impression that Fallen London isn't really maintained anymore? Just what is it?

http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/ It's a very very intricate browser game. It's definitely still being maintained, though the devs took a while off active development to create Sunless Sea, and the story is, apparently, only about 40% done (because it's freaking huge). Sunless Sea covers the whole setting of the 'Neath and the Unterzee, while Fallen London specifically covers the city of London itself, which was stolen by bats late in the 19th century and is now basically ruled over by shadowy cosmic horrors who rule the Bazaar at the center of the city.

I am... probably as passionate about its lore right now as I am about Magic's to give you a sense of the scope of my obsession.

Fallen London Expanded Universe will be the next forum.

Keeper will be the mod of it, with no mod powers to speak of.

Keeper will also be the sole contributor to it.

We just gave them the forum so they stopped posting their fanfics of Fallen London in AF&S, Creative Corner, Other Games and M:EM where Keeper has been trying to push a Fallen London Plane for the past five years.

Or something.

You joke but that is NOT an implausible future :P

In all seriousness, I'm constantly scouting for other fandoms that could be given the M:EM treatment. This is the most promising from the perspective of NGA because it's actually about a game, which I feel is important--NGA should still be primarily game oriented in my opinion though creatively oriented within that framework.

I have lots of schemes.

I have lots of schemes.

A scheme is just a dream that the world doesn't share...

A scheme is a dream your mind makes /

I'm sorry. I was shown too many Disney movies as a child.

And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.

Are you saying you don't still watch Disney?

Okay, you got me, I still do. But it's not like I'm known for occasionally breaking out into Disney songs or anything. :paranoid:

Then you might want to take a look at the latest offering from M:EM (Which is where Raven's quote comes from).

It means no worries, for the rest of your days. Quite the problem-free philosophy.
