Would it be possible for me to run up to the zombie, hit him with a sneak attack, grab my knife that should be embedded someone in the zombie's body, then attack with the off-hand?

You can do an "Object Interaction" in tandem with your action and your movement (and your bonus action). But it's up to the DM if something as difficult as what you're ttrying to do qualifies as "object interaction".

I did, but I've been a little distracted and busy this past week. Lots going on, learning to be a Czar and schedule posts as well as harassing people for content, work has been undergoing some changes, I've had a few changes to my health, and a small myriad of other RL things we won't discuss that have been taking up my time.

The short answer is, not for the rest of this combat, but probably in the future.

Don't worry, Squinty. I just asked because you didn't address my post. I can wait :D

Hope everything is ok with your health :)

Just for clarification, I mean grab the knife I threw at it earlier, though... I guess it could also be possible to stab it, leave the knife I stabbed with in its flesh, then grab with the other :P Would be an interesting way to do 2-weapon combat with a single weapon.

It wouldn't be easy to do.

I would say that if you want to try, I'll need a Strength check or Dexterity check, whichever gives a higher bonus, to dislodge the knife. It's not all that easy to rip something out of a body, much less while it's moving.

Sounds like a fun thing to attempt. The other portions of my turn are ok?
What's my DC?

Assuming you make the DC, yes, the rest of your turn will be good.

Now, asking the DC is a different question. This isn't a wall you can evaluate and know the DC of. This is a fast action in the middle of combat. I can't tell you the DC I have settled on, because you just can't know until you try in this scenario. Now, if you want it for RP of the fight, I'll tell you, but you're not allowed to back down from it if you're not confident you can beat it. It might be a low DC, so it may not be that bad. Guess it depends how stuck the blade is.

I'll attempt.
Is this a save? Can I use sleight of hand bonus instead?

Edit: Shame that that HAD to be the one roll I rolled badly on.

Yeah, I should be able to whip something up, you should bug me about it on Monday.

Reminder: I'll need the article, preferably PM'ed to me by the 5th.

Fel, give me a Strength roll to kick the zombie off. The DC is 12. Passing it kicks the zombie off. Failing it means you won't get the zombie off Hexion with a simple kick.

Now watch Kitar fail the one time he tries to be nice...

You'll let me edit my last post if I fail, right?

Screw that. Kitar has the power :P

Hexion gets no flair. Ever. It is now my life's mission.

Why even bother playing a TRPG if you don't get flair?
I'd just be better off playing a regular old rpg.

@Garren
I don't know if it matters but I figured I should remind you that you don't know me as an elf.

Yeah, it's super confusing that you won't even tell your party what race you are.

Wait really? Okay. I'll change it to rogue. Though I assume you have a fancy hat or something to hide the ears?

I think he has some super duper disguise kit or something.

I do say in my description in the Setup thread that she appears as a human male.
No one really said anything against it back when I made her, so I was under the impression you guys were all ok with it.

I never really wrote a backstory for her actually, but I had the idea that maybe she had her earlobes burned off when she was found trying to burglarize a mage's mansion, or something.
She makes up for it with the disguise kit. There's a reason I went out of my way to buy that disguise kit, you know!

Isn't there a background that lets you have a secret identity or something?

I think everyone just handwaved it during creation because it looked like amusing roleplay.

Also, Mown may be joining us soon!

Well, if you couldn't be bothered to check it earlier, you are partly to blame for your own confusion.

Is there a reason prestidigitation takes that long? Each cast is 1 action worth which, last I checked, didn't take that long (<6 sec since that is the length of a round). A humanoid also doesn't tend to be that huge. I can't imagine it taking more than, say, 5 casts to clean my person, or 3, if I were to, say, curl up to fit as much into a cubic foot as was possible.
