idk, this brawl is growing on me. It has some nice depth to it.

If you want a silver bullet for a Brawl where everyone is trying to lower their health to flood the board, play a deck that sidesteps flooded boards and takes advantage of the opponent's health deficit.

I am, of course, talking about Freeze Mage.

Even my janky F2P freeze mage without ice block or Alex is still pretty good in this brawl.

Great. I'll just go to my F2P account and make a freeeze mage..... Nope. Can't do it. Next suggestion?

I did it with this all-basic Druid midrange. might take a couple tries but it's pretty well-positioned to smash warlocks.

I did it by beating someone trying to play freeze mage with a severely budget druid deck .

My point is that you can't be competitive on a budget in this brawl, and beating it at least once is a pain in the behind. Since the entire point of having the classic pack as a reward is to benefit low-collection accounts over high-collection accounts, it's bad design to keep releasing brawls like this one and the double deathrattle one.

agreed. if it were me I wouldn't have any Brawls that require you to make your own deck.

So if they removed the reward from brawl, you wouldn't mind the design of them?

does the brawl not use an mmr system? you should only be able to lose so many times before you start playing against other people in your situation

Brawl has its own MMR that carries over week to week. So if you kicked ass during Portal Brawl and then this thing starts...

No I would not. I would simply chalk it up under "You don't have to play it, and there's no significant reward you are missing out on by not doing so."

I won on my main in this today with a 192 attack 1 health Gahzrilla. The guy screwed up his combat math because he didn't want to trade his mechwarper and his 1 attack guy went into my Gahzrilla instead.

I also got a Twisting Nether, which I didn't have, from the pack. So good brawl all around. Never playing again after the 1st win on my alt (on Friday; turns out I only had time to do the 1 duel).

Got my win first time out with Boom Bot. Ended at 30 life (lowest: 28) thanks to sticking a mechwarper for far, far too long.

THIS BRAWL IS AMAZING

from my one game so far Boombot seems the heavy favorite, especially since its power is a pretty strong counter to Annoy-O-Tron's, but still, super fun so far. once I've cleared out my quests I'll be doing this a lot.

Pretty much. This is a really fun brawl. Most games that I have played favor Boombot, but it isn't unwinnable or close to that. Tons of random, fun effects make it much more up in the air than an obvious win/lose.

Played two games: one as a Boombot, one as a Tron. Won both, so clearly this Brawl is perfectly balanced.

Only played once for the pack so far, but won as the Annoy-o-tron.

Annoy-o-tron seems to be aggro by sheer it's hero power doesn't do crap if you don't play tempo, while boom bot ends up the Rag of the situation by default. It seems that if annoy-o-tron seems to lose too bad, it can't really grab the board back bar a miracle.

Agreed. Boom definitely has the better hero power.
