(2) is easy. Have done it up as below. It is linked to the Color / Archetype description (Cell G3), so you can fill that in and it will update automatically as below.

(1) is a lot more difficult as I'm not familiar with the bbcode for RGB. Currently, I just copied the code by MysteriousMrP, I only know that it is linked to the current date and time, as well as the name of the deck. So changing the name of the deck (how you spell, or even the spaces) will result in changes to the color scheme.

Beautiful! (And I agree, the "thinner" display really tightens things up, t'was a good suggestion :) )

As for the color changes, the BBCode changes are trivial, but I'm not sure how limited you are in editing the "magic cell" we use to cut&paste from---hypothetically, if I gave you three cells and pointed to exactly where they should replace the numbers in the Google Docs cut&paste cell, could you push them in?

I've created 3 cells for color scheme which you can change and added notes for table, odd rows and even rows, so you know what you are changing.

For those who are adventurous, they can leave the color scheme to the RNG goddesses, which is the default, and for the experts like yourself, you can manually change the color scheme:

Hopefully this is a question with an obvious answer...

How do I update versions? Do I need to cut and paste my decks from an older version to the new one?

Unfortunately, yes. You need to copy and paste from the older version to the new one. :blush:

Doesn't help that the more tabs you have, the slower it becomes. :cry:

There isn't really a way to fix this because of the limitations of G! Sheets. If anyone has ideas to improve this like a script or something, I'll happily try it.

heh it's okay barney I might as well be a natural english speaker :p lived in the US since I was 2 but didn't learn english till grade school (well anything that could be recognized as english I'm told that when we were 5 my brother and I spoke a weird mix of german, japanese, and english)

Anthonli, as an everyday excel user I have to admit, that this spreadsheet is a work of art!:-)

Things I'd modify/add:
Remove a [/plB] before the spell list (seems like a leftover code)
Check if [a] isn't greater than avail. so you can't add fe. 4 Thopter Spy Networks or at least get an error or something.
Move the sum of cards added from the bottom to the top, so you can follow it all the time while theorycrafting a deck in the sheet.

Why aren't people using the deck planner? Is it too complicated? Or is it laziness? I think that it's a magnificent tool.

I use it for my own decks.

For the tournament I'm just copying and pasting others stuff though, so I don't get the nice formatting.
