For all the want I had for Magic, I only managed to actually do one draft. I did a red/white aggro deck that won me the tournament, which was really cool. Then I ended up smoking a bunch, and then drinking more, and I lost most of my time to partying in the Marriot.

I had an awesome time, but the gaming kinda sucked. There were drafts, like, a lot of them going on, but the Casual scene got taken over by some stupid system. Essentially, you pay $12 for a premade, play against anyone else who bought a premade, and the winner gets two random cards out of a chest and the loser gets one. The cards were clearly junk, but basically no one was there to just play some Casual and chill. It was all competitive Premades or Draft.
