So, Lock, I look at your list and I think "y u no Acid-Moss?" It seems like you'd benefit from slowing your opponent down while ramping into that many fatties. Especially given that pretty much everyone is running 2/3 colour decks, you are somewhat likely to be able to at least temporarily shut someone off of a colour.

That isn't a bad idea honestly. I went with Nissa's Pilgrimage for the mana cost and to pull 2-3 land from my deck rather than kill one of theirs and draw one from mine. It's the same reason I put in the Evolving Wilds. That is two lands coming out as oppose to just one. What it comes down to is a non-traditional version of Card Advantage. By rapidly drawing out land, I am thinning the deck to start top decking answers to anything on the board. You kill the biggin I have down only for me to top deck another next turn. And with ways to get them back as well. Just the way I have been playing it so far.

Oh, I understand the concept of deck-thinning, it's just that traditionally that's more useful to aggro (who doesn't want to see lands past turn 4 or 5 usually) or control (who both doesn't want to miss drops and wants their draw spells, especially Sorcery-speed ones, to hit gas), but you've got a tempo/mid-range thing going here, and stiffing them out of a land, if not an entire colour, just before you start dumping bunches of fat on the table, seems like it would serve better. Consider testing it, at least. I'm not familiar enough with how your deck plays as-is to tell how much difference the swap would make.

And FWIW, I was thinking of possibly swapping the Vines instead of the Pilgrimages, as the Vines don't actually ramp. You've got 24 land, 4 Pilgrimages, and Nissa, you should hit 4 by turn 4 pretty darn often even without the Vines, but you'd know better than I.

Vines are there to thin the deck and targets for Evo, Fleshbag, and BS. I will test it up tonight, but something I'm eyeing as well is a turn 4 Outland vs turn 4 Acid-Mosd. I like Acid-Moss more in a RG ramp/land destroy or even a Mono-G Ramp. But I will test tonight when I get off work.

Tried it out and just wasn't impressed with the results. Played around 20 AI matches and didn't ramp we well as I liked.
