Zendikar Incarnate. We're already in red, there's no good mono red here, and it's a very strong card if we can run it.

Stalwart Aven

It goes in the best deck, we passed no white so far (OK, a Knight, but that's not a strong signal), and while Incarnate is the better card, I'm a bit concerned with our curve. I'm not sure it's correct, since the pack is very green, it's a gamble, but the payoff would be quite high.

zendikar incarnate

there is absolutely no reason to worry about curve on the third pick of a draft

Stalwart Aven is stronger than it's given credit, but I still like taking Zendikar Incarnate here.

I think in the abstract, Aven is the most valuable card. But I like taking Zendikar Incarnate here, because there are 3 solid green cards and we are likely to wheel one.

Note that if we had taken husk pick one we would be snapping up the ghoul here.

I never see good two drops after about pick five. So I worry. Not that we passed any.

Joraga Invocation

Good thing you all took the green card. This is a signal, a board wipe, a bomb ...

Might of the Masses

No red. Do we want to go blue? Disperse is a great card, and the Owl is also still here. If we want to hedge, I'm for Disperse.

QFT.

Pick 5... I actually kind of like Meteorite here. Combat trick is better but it's replacable. And I don't believe this is a strong blue signal.... we did pass a skaab goliath though, and if that wheels I would be very happy.

Disperse...

I don't think disperse is good in a format full of 2 drops. This is between might of the masses and ring-warden owl IMO, and I think we take might. It's replaceable, but at least it's on color and replaceable.

Disperse is weirdly good in this format because of renown and the generally large number of double blocks and combat tricks. Also if you are ahead it's very good on tempo if they play a 4/4.

Many renown decks play Auras on their two drops. Disperse is great against that. I much prefer the Voidmage, but Disperse is much better than the Owl in this format, IMO.

Yeah, owl is a 10th pick secondary win con in slower decks.
