I had no ability to protect myself last night btw. I started with 2 charges of each of my 6 abilities and Birthing Pod increased that to 3 charges each.

My abilities were/are:
Daytime: cop/voteblock/mayor
Nighttime: doc/kill player who was targeted (no protection can save them)/roleblock

I could target another player during the night to grant him the ability to stop any number of people from voting and having his vote count double until either of us died.
Targeted fel N2 to stop eji(was actually going to change to mown since he was in the european time zone and neo softclaimed tahiwna, but it was too late) then got killed and my ability ended.

Since I could also use it from the grave and I feared that mafia either had thallid or mindslaver I used it again on fel N3.

It didn't stop votes that were already made.

The player I got it from was self-aligned and I could have just as easily been the one bull-rushed d2.

True enough Rubik. All the more reason Scrambleverse hurt the mafia more than us.

I was really annoyed about the lack of a day 3 massclaim since it was pretty difficult to find a scenario where one of pp,rubik and sharazad wasn't scum and that would have meant only one scum between the other players.

For the record, every part of how Alt's ability set was handled was a joke.

Handed out a kill to a phased out player. Handed out a kill to himself, because he voted an unvoted. Negated the downside of his role by simply voting and unvoting. The Neosilk bit I wont bother, but the rest of his role was clearly designed with it to be intended to count the last player who has a standing vote on Alt, not the way it was handled.


And for the record, we didnt misplay. Rubik had 4 abilities, and the chance to use 2 every day/night cycle. That was not something that could reasonably be accounted for. Also feel like the thallid charge should have been fizzled when he was mindslaved, not simply been re-usable the next day, but thats well past a moot point.

I'm not sure he used the ability on day 3

I used the ability on D3. I was mindslaved by Mown though into someone else. Possibly, as fel hypothesized, someone of the mafia alignment.

And mafia totally misplayed by going ham rather than taking it slow and steady. Netting not one but two scum in what happened after D2 hurt. And I'm town.
