Is there a reason to not vote PP today?

I didn't brought back HW, but I can see it being an ability of his own card. Also, hi HW!

I brought HW back. Originally I was going to bring JaC back because he's great at thinking things through logically. Razor was going to be my target yesterday because he knew the current cards everyone has. I was prevented by Mown though and we know all the cards. So I figured I'd give HW a chance to play the game since he was killed upon replacing in. It's the least I could do.

That being said, I'm sure PP is our last mafiate. The lack of a NK last night, excluding Alt, might have been because PP decided to protect himself. Either way, PP would be the best target for the investigation since he isn't helpful with his postings. At least then, if he is town, we could look elsewhere.

Or we could just lynch PP and if he turns up as town, then Rubik could use his investigation tomorrow on someone more deserving. Either way, we should get PP out of the way.

As a side note, my ability turns my target into a vanilla townie essentially. HW, for all intents and purposes, is vanilla townie and is no longer his card choice.

Oh Alt/Neo, correct me if I'm wrong, but if Neo was the last mafiate, then we would have won the game after we lynched Mown, right?

Because he doesn't count as a player and technically Neo didn't exist yesterday once we lynched Mown. If Neo was the last mafiate, and since he didn't exist, town would have won. Correct?

Indirectly, this proves Neo as town barring some insane ruling or issue with the Taniwaha role when it comes to winning the game.

And while I'm on the subject of town, this is directed at you HW since you asked.

Currently the confirmed town are: Alt, you, and myself. Neo would be a potential to the list.

I never asked about that, but based on what I do know about my role, maybe. I would have started existing the morning of day 5, so, based in timing, I'm not sure that the game would have ended. I would consider my card known, but I'm not confimed town, even though I am town.

Personally, I'd rather lynch PP, and, if we are wrong then use the investigation for someone else.

I don't see any reason to prolong this. PP hasn't done much to assist town in anyway.
I think it'd be more beneficial to lynch, and save the investigation for tomorrow.

HOWEVER, given I have an NK, I'd rather use the investigation now on some random person, that way when we lynch PP, if he for some reason happens to be town, It'll narrow down the list for me to target for my NK.

Does that sound reasonable?

If it were up to me I'd say pick UrzaSucks.
Everyone else has a reason to in the slightest way be town. So I'd investigate US. lynch PP and depending on his flip I'll have more information with which to make an NK.

Also, could you shed more information on the Taniwaha scenario I mentioned? Because it would help eliminating Neo as possible scum (granted he did NK Story, but you can never be too cautious).

I agree with the US investigation. He hasn't been contributing as much either.

It's all around timing. I don't think there's a clear answer. I think it's pretty clear that I'm town, since I did whack story, but, were I on the other side, I'd not concider myself confirmed town, just more likely than many.

Well, I think the timing was pretty clear. It's been said you don't exist on even Days/Nights. You don't count at all towards the numbers and nothing you do matters.

We lynched Mown on Day 4 and went into Night 4. So you didn't exist at all on Night 4 either. If, and this is just a logical connection I am making, you don't count towards numbers at all and town can lose without you, then it would stand to reason that if you were the last mafiate and didn't exist Night 4, then town should, by all rights, have won.

That's how I'm looking at it.

Off topic, but it seems to me that, in hindsight, Scrambleverse really messed with the mafia this game. Granted the Lord of the Pit ability was definitely powerful in their hands had they not misused it the way they did. Rubik literally shut the door in their face after the first time.

I slightly mentioned my thoughts on this earlier, though not exactly this situation. Thus:
I don't think mafia would've lost due to a non-existant player being the only player.
1) Because he would come back next turn. But most importantly,
2) Because he hadn't lost.

Even if he doesn't exist he hasn't lost, so my deduction would be that mafia wouldn't have lost even if Neo was their last member and he happened to phase out.

I don't know for sure, but it makes the most sense to me.

Not existing is the same thing as not being a part of the game though.

Seems unfair to town that it counts against them, but not for mafia.

But it's not against town winning, it's against town voting.
It would equally be against mafia voting.

I'm literally mafia. Just lynch me so I don't have to spend my time on this game anymore. I feel pretty bad about missing the deadline for target.
