The idea is to A) have a list of all cards in the game in the op and B) have a thread just for discussing specific decklists.

Basic Set

Classic Set

Goblins Vs Gnomes Set

Reward Set

Uncollectible

To be continued

Due to fatigue, the other 3 sets will get done tomorrow. The current ones are searchable by set, mana cost, alphabetical, and rarity.

Why? Just link to one of the several websites, which supports sorting, filtering, image representation and other varying convenience features.
HearthHead being the one I would recommend.

For the list?

So that we DONT HAVE TO use a different site.

For the thread?

Because it really would be a lot better to have a decklist specific thread.

I don't mind the thread. But for the list, other sites provides a magnitudes better service, so people are going to gravitate towards them regardless.
I mean, it's your time, so do whatever I guess. I'm just telling you it's a waste.

It's not a waste if I use it, and if someone else uses it it is just a bonus.

By that logic, DotP is a waste. Except it's the second most popular section on this forum. Personally, I think I will be using this thread to build some decks. I would even say I'd like a setup like DotP where each class has its own thread to build with.

Speaking of, that's what the 2nd post is going to be once I have time. All the class cards sorted by mana cost.

3rd post is if someone actually wants me to post links to their decks towards the beginning of the thread.

By what logic and how? DotP has quite a lot of noticeable differences from MTGO (assuming that is what you are aiming towards), most notably an easier barrier of entry and a single-player option.

Here are some expected use cases for when I try to build decks, that a list of cards emulate poorly in comparison, or not at all:
• I can't remember the name of Kezan Mystic, but I know roughly what it does and want it in my deck.
• I want more Deathrattle minions.
• My deck could need some more 4-drops.
• What does my mana curve look like?
• How many cards do I have in my deck?
• Let me look at what cards from the new expansion I could put in my deck.

If I did this for Magic: the Gathering, would you even consider using it instead of Gatherer or magiccards.info?

Tempo/Token Druid:

2x Argent Squire
1x Zombie Chow

2x Power of the Wild
2x Haunted Creeper
2x Knife Juggler

2x Savage Roar
2x Druid of the Flame

2x Swipe
2x Defender of Argus
1x Piloted Shredder

2x Druid of the Claw
1x Druid of the Fang
1x Loatheb
1x Sludge Belcher

2x Force of Nature

2x Ancient of Lore
2x Ancient of War
1x Dr. Boom

My Reasoning:

Argent Squire is a sticky minion that can be buffed by Savage Roar, Power of the Wild, and Defender of Argus. It's also extremely sticky later on as far as Savage Roar turns are concerned, and it's capable of killing some other popular 1 drops in the game without dying. It's also good at getting a couple free damage, proccing Knife Juggler on the cheap, and in general dealing with small token minions like imp, silver hand recruit, etc.

Zombie Chow is just a massive minion to play turn 1, and since this is more tempo oriented including the standard 1 seemed like a no brainer, since I decided not to run a very large number of 1 drops. The point of my 1 drops is to prevent their 1 drop from doing anything and be slightly stickier than the average 1 drop later on.

Power of the Wild serves as a turn 2 body, but it can also buff the 1 drop (a 3/4 Zombie Chow is quite funny) and later on in the game when you have large numbers of minions on the board this is a global +1/+1 buff. Between the interactions with the board, Force of Nature, and just smoothing out our curve in general on turns 2 and 4, I really like it in this deck. Finally, it's a cheap beast to activate Druid of the Fang on turn 7 if I so choose to use it that way.

Haunted Creeper is a sticky body that's really nice to buff, and it just works really well with lots of other cards in the deck. It's also a cheap beast.

Knife Juggler is by my own admission a weird include here, but it's been a very good turn 2+ play all over the place on a regular basis, consistently pushing out a large amount of work vs other cards I've tried like, so I like it in this deck.

Savage Roar is part of the famous combo, but I also keep getting boards with 3 to 5 minions without using Force. So it's just been a good card all around, doubling as spot removal in emergency situations early in the game.

Druid of the Flame is a 3 drop that is an extremely good tempo play early in the game (especially when Defender of Argus is your 4 drop), while later in the game it's 5/2 form keeps it relevant vs control decks.

The 4 drop spot is all completely self-explanatory. Any of those cards in their prime situation is really good in a tempo deck OR very good removal.

Druid of the Claw...... there isn't a druid deck on the planet that should not be running druid of the claw. It's a very good taunt that doubles as lethal in a large number of situations.

Druid of the Fang is my other questionable choice, but I find that this singleton card has won me a few games that I have no business winning, which for a deck I've only played 20 games with is a statistically signficant number. It's just massively above curve for a 5 drop if transformed, while being on par with drake's body if not transformed, and it's even a decent turn 7 play alongside a creeper or panther or after a Druid of the Claw.

Sludge Belcher is a one of because it's a really nice taunt, but I have had some space concerns here.

Loatheb is just completely busted.

Force of Nature is a two of because of consistency and so that I can "waste" one on spot removal.

Ancient of Lore is decent healing (very fun on an Ancient of War) and decent card draw at the stage of the game where we are liable to need one or the other or both.

Ancient of War in the 5/10 form is a massive tempo sink that will probably 3 for 1, while in the 10/5 form on an empty board it's an extremely aggressive play that can win games against a control opponent. I like both <3.

And the boom man is the boom man. He's not ragnaros because I want the bodies over the explosions.

The main reason for this deck:

I can't stand being extremely reliant on Wild Growth and Innervate, which most of the decent netdecks on the internet exhibit to a T.

In order:
- go to neutral rares from GVG set
- scroll down the list of 1 - 3 drops
- go to post 2 when it's done and go to the 4 drop section for your class and for neutrals
- you remember what you have in the deck list you are making
- you remember that as well
- you go to post 1 and look at the cards from the new expansion in the neutral section and the section for your class

The benefit of all that being that you never have to leave the thread.

I understand that you don't particularly like this, but the bolded statement makes some people like me happy and since Jack is willing to do it there is absolutely no harm in having a list of cards at the beginning of the deck thread. If you believe I am wasting my time, then that is one thing, but I don't and it serves absolutely no purpose other than to annoy me by repeatably telling me it's not going to see any use if I'm going to do it anyways, unless you believe there is actively some harm in it.

Your list provides no card searching feature so to find specific effects we have to look at every card. It would be easier to just use the in game search.

You didn't have to go through the effort to prove my point, but I appreciate it nonetheless. btw

I don't see why that is such a bad thing. The amount of scrolling you will have to do takes more time than switching between tabs.

oh no, opinions.
Sometimes I wonder if the concept of a conversation is lost to you. Heck, the last post was primarily a response to SE. But yeah, sure, if I had to dredge up some reason as to why it's bad, then it would be because I want the first post of a thread about decks to actually be a useful resource for looking at or building decks, not a wall of cards. Although it doesn't impede my everyday life, so I guess I wouldn't call it "actively harmful". More like a lost opportunity.

If it makes you feel better, the Hearthstone community on this site is bad enough that this thread will die off within a few days naturally <3. Lost opportunities and all that.

Fine. Since everyone wants to thread crap we can just forget it, let this thread die off, and keep posting in the 50 page one. If someone wants an op in the future then Squinty can do it.

Remember kids, if someone disagrees with you on the internet, antagonize them by misconstruing their intentions and/or actions, it's a surefire way to kill the possibility for discussion. Here, let me reiterate it for you.
"I don't mind the thread." In fact, I think a deck thread is a good idea. Rationally, I might not expect it to see a lot of activity, but this forum section as a whole moves slowly, so it's not like it will go anywhere any time soon.

Anyway, TGT tinkering.

Lock'n'Load Miracle
I'm really uncertain with how I should go about making a deck for it. I will have to playtest it and see how capable a LnL turn is for winning the game. This is pretty much the hyper-combo version, and you have zero ways of winning without LnL. However, you have Tracking and five cantrips, and your early game is not that awful. I'm contemplating putting some Illuminator to not get stomped by aggro decks, since I'm not sure I can overcome the health deficit regardless of what hunter cards I pull.

Echo Giants
More of a Freeze Mage variant. I've been playing a netdeck for today, and this is basically the same list but with Duplicate -> Effigy and Sylvanas, Thaurissan -> Frost Giant. The deck has better early-game tempo and bomby lategame plays, but Duplicate has been really good. Effigy has pretty sick synergy with a lot of the cards though. If Efffigy becomes popular, I might want a second Polymorph over BGH.
