Howdy. Here for Magic mostly. Got back into the game gradually over the last several months. Trying to catch up on recent sets and getting acquainted with Modern.

Hi. Just joined, mainly because I wanted to do some shameless self-promotion regarding a fanfiction I just wrote. I can't seem to find a section to share fanfics which don't adhere to the Magic Expanded Multiverse guidelines though, if there is such a thing. Since there are very few communities dealing with original Magic fiction, I figured this was as good a place as any to start.

I'm currently about 150 pages into writing a novel length story set in the Magic multiverse. I've tried finding a way to pitch the idea to Wizards, without creating any intellectual property conflicts for them, including reaching out to former Magic novel writers. Thus far, no luck, although a couple of the authors have replied, even if it's to say they don't have any pull at the company anymore. The fact that Magic no longer tell stories in novel form is another sizable hurdle as well. Still the fact that the Origins stories will be printed soon gives me a bit of hope.

Anywho, that's my spiel.

Creative Corner is dead though, so I wouldn't really recommend that approach, unless you like make a post in the off-topic thread in AF&S that links to it.

Creative Corner isn't dead. Razor has a song there; there was even an impending compliment given. It's as lively as ever.

Dead is a relative term. More content will have more people considering putting their content there. Discouraging new people from it is essentially a self-fulfilling prophecy.
