Hello everyone. New here. I would like to post a deck list but not sure how to do so. If there's a link someone could point me to on how to do this, I'd appreciate it.

If you don't use the quick reply there's a button below "bold" that says "card". Just select the individual card names and hit that. The card will show via mouseover.

2x Pira and Kiran Nalaar

I'd add some spells, especially if you wanna be able to transform Chandra.

This was a quick and very rough draft. I figured I don't need a ton of draw spells since that artifact will do some work. Especially with esperoza. I considered displacement wave and the white board wipe but that seems counter intuitive to my own game plan. I think some counterspells could be nice.

A simple Jeskai deck built around flooding the sky with Thopters, buffing them with lords and playing Ride of the Valkyries at full blast while swooping in for the victory.

x4 Fiery Impulse
x4 Perilous Myr
x4 Telling Time
x3 Chief of the Foundry
x4 Ghirapur Gearcrafter
x3 Thopter Engineer
x3 Artificer's Epiphany
x2 Pia and Kiran Nalaar
x3 Thunderclap Wyvern
x2 Thopter Spy Network
x2 Valor In Akros
x2 Soulblade Djinn
x7 Island
x7 Mountain
x4 Plains
x2 Clifftop Retreat
x2 Glacial Fortress
x2 Sulfur Falls

Admittedly white doesn't get a huge amount of representation in the list but what it does bring is quite potent. Thunderclap Wyvern is both a Flying Lord which really helps out the Thopters but his ability to be dropped with flash to serve as a combat trick is probably his most impressive feat. Likewise Valor In Akros has the potential to provide massive buffs to the team; Ghirapur Gearcrafter/Thopter Engineer net a +2/+2 a piece, Pia and Kiran Nalaar an impressive +3/+3 and Thopter Spy Network is a constant stream of buffs each and every turn. Again not a great representation but easily enough to make this worth going Jeskai over simply Izzet.

Nice deck Garren, my only question would be was the no high end removal such as reprisal/angelic edict intentional. Most of the decks seem to run off monsters that can be dealt with through fiery impulse and perilous myr, but I would suggest packing at least 2 if not 3 cards for high end removal giving you a high draw chance of getting one at 3 copies.

Wow, I'm working on almost exactly the same deck... I'll post it up tomorrow for comparison, but it's super close. Nice1... great mind and all that. lol

edit: IMO Thopter Spy Network isn't good enough in this deck, based on my trials. I'm using the token copier instead.

It wasn't intentional per say so much as it was just how the deck ended up coming together. Removal was mostly built for early game and/or that double as direct burn to the face for the last bits of damage - and also cheap so I could get multiple uses out of Soulblade Djinn. I can certainly see your point though - I'm running white so Angelic Edict (or even Tragic Arrogance) could be a nice addition. Not entirely sure what I'd cut for them though? Perhaps a Telling Time and a Ghirapur Gearcrafter? Hmm.

Hmm. Really? It seems like it would fit so well - if a little slow. Though I have to admit I'm not sure what 'token copier' you're talking about. I didn't know we had access to something like that.

Is the token copier the flameshadow conjuring card?

Edit: That might actually double the effectiveness of your combat trick wyvern.

Oh. Oh! I hadn't even thought about that. That could be very effective. Even just using it when you drop, say, a Ghirapur Gearcrafter gives you four creatures, three of which stick around (and a +4/+4 bonus to stats if you have a Valor In Akros out). That's powerful stuff.

Also garren I totes stole your idea about elemental bond + sphinx's tutelage and made a wacky deck with it. Go to the sultai thread if you want to laugh at me :(.

I did have a look at that. It's certainly a unique take on it. I can't vouch for it's effectiveness but between that build and your just mentioning Flameshadow Conjuring I'm actually working on a Temur deck that uses the combo. So some good came out of it.

Nice, let me know how it works out for you. My temur list was my most effective list for me last year. Would love to see your temur deck with the new meta. Problem is we don't get the steam version until the 15th so alas we are doomed to theorycraft until then.

Yeah, sorry... I forgot you guys are just theory crafting right now. Flameshadow Conjuring is the card I meant, and it's the better card for the deck. It's really nuts. Either that or neither because they are both too slow... jury is still out for me on that one.

The Founding Thopters:

1 x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
3 x Fiery Impulse
4 x Perilous Myr
3 x Artificer's Epiphany
3 x Thopter Engineer
3 x Chief of the Foundry
2 x Flameshadow Conjuring
2 x Thopter Spy Network
3 x Juggernaut
3 x Whirler Rogue
2 x Pia and Kiran Nalaar
3 x Thunderclap Wyvern
2 x Angelic Edict
1 x Tragic Arrogance

23 creatures / 13 non creatures / 24 Land
10 white sources / 12 red sources / 17 Blue sources
4-4-9-15-3 mana curve

2 x Izzet Guilgate
2 x Azorius Guildgate
2 x Boros Guildgate
2 x Sulfur Falls
2 x Glacial Fortress
2 x Clifftop Retreat
2 x Foundry of the Consuls

4 x Island
3 x Mountain
3 x Plains

This is a Jeskai thopter airbeats midrange deck. My initial feel is I am trying to do too many things at once, going for both thopters and adding a third colour without any benefit other than late game removal and 3 x more lords for my thopters. With chief of the foundry and thunderclap wyvern I have a total of six lords to buff the thopters with. Flameshadow Conjuring is here to assist pia and kiran nalaar and whirler rogue. This essentially lets me put 4 thopters on the field for 5 mana plus a 2/2 bear. With six lords in the deck they will likely be 2/2 artifacts at least with flying. Some considerations I made were valor in akros and aeronaut tinkerer. Valor would give me a field wide buff of +6/+6 when i get the ultimate combo off with chandra's parents or whirler rogue + flameshadow. It would also give me a +2/+2 any time I paid an extra red meaning if i used it on a lord coming into play creatures would get +4/+4 until end of turn as well. The list just seemed too packed at the 4 cmc to have a slot for it though. The Tinkerer didn't seem to hold the early game well enough for me. The threat of [card]perilous myr[card] is too great vs aggro for him to be rewarded my early game creature slots. Let me know what you guys think and may the founding thopters be with you.

Edit: I did consider replacing the [card]Thopter spy network[/card] for valor in akros but again not sure what to replace for it.

I think you should remove 2x Pia and Kiran Nalaar, 2x Angelic Edict, 1x Tragic Arrogance, 1x Fiery Impulse

Instead, I would recommend adding the 3x Valor in Akros that you were considering and add 3x Reclusive Artificer.

I feel that this deck should focus mostly on aggro, making Valor in Akros more useful than the control spells. Reclusive Artificer seems like it should be an auto-include in this deck because it is both a creature and creature control for 4 mana.

My main reason for preferring the Reclusive Artificer over Pia and Kiran Nalaar is that Pia and Kiran Nalaar is a legendary creature. If you try to combo this with Flameshadow Conjuring, you will only get the 4 Thopter tokens (not a bad deal, but Whirler Rogue is far better in the long run).

Lastly, this deck seems to be very heavy with 4-drops. You may want to consider replacing some of the Juggernauts with Bonded Constructs

Replacing the angelic edict and the tragic arrogance might be the way to go especially for reclusive artificer seems to be a good idea.

Getting rid of pia and kiran nalaar isn't something I want to do just yet as it gives a 4 x thopter spawning bringing the cards that do that up from 3 to 5. In addition, chandra's parents can also act as removal by sacrificing an artifact for shock level damage. I would probably trade 1 fiery impulse for a reprisal just to keep some hard removal at a lower mana cost.

Still need something to get rid of in that case for valor in akros as I spawn a lot of creatures and this card would be of great benefit to me.

Maybe replacing two juggernauts might not be a bad idea for bonded constructs but at the same time I could just grab a lower mana flier like Faerie Miscreant this reduces my artifact cost but doesn't penalize me by not allowing me to attack unlike the construct. While that does reduce my artifact count it still has evasion and gets buffed by half my lords.

Thanks for the suggestions.
