Mhm. That works. Assuming we are able to spend our money whenever we wish to, we don't have to save up for things, playing safe always works, and no one ever gets far enough behind that saving up unreliable gold becomes an issue.

idk why i'm following this thread i don't play dota

all mobas are very snowbally and i have heard a lot of arguments for why league is snowbally and why dota is snowbally that make sense to me, and mechanics that developers have put into the game to prevent both from snowballing. This makes sense to me, because mobas are very snowbally. There should be mechanics in mobas such as dota and league that make them snowball. It makese sense to me that there would be mechanics put into dota and league to make them less snowbally. Developers don't want their games to snowball so they would design countermeasures to make their games less snowbally. That makes sense to me.

btw the only moba i've played that solved snowballing is adventure time battle party

Last patch, in dota 2 it was incredibly easy to comeback, in fact the anti snowball measures were deemed too extreme by the community since early advantage and kills almost never guaranteed a win as all it took for the losing team to come back was one team fight win or pick off.

In the new patch things are more balanced, but comebacks are still very possible and common.

Honestly, I think a lot of your problem with dota might just be that you don't yet have the experience necessary to know how to play from behind. While the team with a gold lead has an advantage in fights, it can be difficult to push into a tier 3 tower and high ground to actually break open the enemy base, so the team that's behind can often extend the game until they can buy a couple items too. As for the "Everyone is OP when they have items", to an extent that's true, but some heroes do scale a lot better, so teams with lategame heroes can often play defensively until they can get farm while their opponents fall off. An undying does virtually nothing 60 minutes in, while a medusa or spectre is almost impossible to beat.

gosu is a game with heavy enough rubberbanding mechanics that it is often advantageous to lose the early game and that is one of the reasons i liked it

NAR takes down the NA qualifiers for the second year in a row, and Ehome takes the China qualifiers. Can't wait for the EU qualifiers, here's hoping for Na'Vi vs Alliance in the finals.

EDIT: I'm dumb, NAR just won the LB finals. They're taking on complexity now.

I've discovered that I love disruptor. Glimpse is just such a fun, unique, (and really powerful) spell. I've come to appreciate its defensive capabilities against heroes like clock, bara, and storm, or just people trying to TP into fights.

Was playing as Enigma today, blinked in and catched 3 enemy heroes as they were retreating in a perfect black hole, only for the naga siren on our team to walk up to them and cast her ult and save all 3...

I swear this game sometimes is pushing the limit of my patience

It helps to remember that 20 minutes from now, the game will be over, and none of this will matter. Unless it's ranked. Then you lose internet points.

Decision making in dota always looks easier when you aren't the one doing it.

Does anyone know how to add bots to a custom game in dota reborn (such as the 10v10 map)?

I initially got calibrated for solo ranked at 3somethingk mmr, a bunch of games later I found myself dropping into the 2ks further and further. I know mmr is not really reflective of skill or anything because of broken matchmaking, infinite people on smurf accounts, leavers, feeders, etc but somehow it didnt sit right with me being into 2k mmr bracket, so I tried to make it to 3k!

I finally did it NGA!

some luck was definitely involved, like, I played like ASS in the jakiro game but now that I made it out of 2k I dont want to play ranked anymore ;_;

NiP vs Empire game 2 was the closest game of pro dota 2 I've ever seen.

I never bothered to check for some thread like this but I wanted to say I'm a DotA 2 enthusiast, even if I don't play as much today. I'd be down to play some games but I don't think most of you would like to play in SA servers...?
