Hate to disappoint the monk group, lol, but I'm starting work on a human ranger.

Some background notes:
Hearing rumors of a growing crime syndicate infiltrating the Merchant's Row with illicit goods, I came to this town to clean up this city.
Parkun Guo has a lost love from his old village, Anna Sun, who was killed by the mob. A simple farmer at the time, it devastated the man's soul; now he carries around a devotion to his Anna. (Inspiration from "Anna Sun" by Walk the Moon).

Quick questions.

Rich Parents trait. Go or no go?

I'll go as high as 200 gp, but since everyone else is only starting with 100 gp, I'd rather not go almost up to a grand in gold.

Tis why I'm asking. I was shocked that it was actually a trait.

But I would have made a composite bow attainable, so I tabled the question. Lol

Guess I'll just take the two hundred and save up for a bit to be able to shell out the 300gp for the +2

Edit : Just remembered that starting gold doesnt carry over *ponders*

Yeah, not everything is 100% balanced in Pathfinder. Equalizing starting gold is just one way for me to try and balance things a little bit. I'm going to try and make sure I hand out gold and treasure fairly, but in my experience, sometimes you have to wait a level or two until the real payoff for all your actions. It can take a little while, but the benefits can really help outweigh the time.

So, "traits" were new to me, but once I actually found them, I think I've narrowed it down.

I'm definitely wanting to take: "Sacred Touch" as the first.

For the second, I'm considering "Reactionary," "Resilient," "Militia Veteran," or "Veteran of Battle" -- not entirely sure yet.

Also, I put my Human +2 bonus to an ability into Strength, moving it from 14 to 16.

Yeah I should have said where I found em. Took me a bit too , even on the second time.

My +2 human bonus is going STR as well, but its marked on my sheet.

Nope, you get the same thing you'll always get for killing members of the party: EXP loss.

I'm fine either way. Its up to you whether you want us roaming free or want to be able to nudge us in character.

I'm fine with DM OOC nudges as well.

The character would be less for nudging and a bit more for assisting you guys navigating the world. He/she would be closer to background noise, and would probably be a support character like a Bard or Wizard.

I kinda want to make a pathfinder fighter now too. Heh.

Monks like buffs. Babysitters don't bother me much.

Ideally, I'd like to have the game up and running before next Saturday. Do you guys think you can have your characters done by then, or is that too soon? I know BH is still working on picking a class...

I made a ranger, and posted the sheet for review.

It needs a DM combover, and still pending background and description, but I can totally start the game and iron those details out.
