We need a dislike button for posts. (I know we won't actually get it because it hurts people's feelings or something)

I'd actually be curious if there's any record of how much the like button has been used. I think I used it a dozen times early on when it got implemented, but then I stopped using it completely and I haven't seen any other posts with any likes (or thanks or whatever) since then.

I occasionally see posts with a like, but it's not really visible so even if it happens you don't really notice. which is fine, it's a useful tool for facebook but I don't think it adds much to a discussion board.

We had this discussion before?

More people than not said they think it would just lead to a popularity contest rather than meaningful conversation, so they decided not to do it.

The 'like' button has been used 3927 times on 3590 posts; the most-liked post is this one, with 7 likes.

And here is how much it's been used over time:

So aside from you wanting to follow around a couple of users and downvote everything they type (which is the exact reason it's currently not a thing by the way), is there another reason you think this should be a thing?

I take that as a no?

Then I don't really see a reason for a downvote system. It's just as valuable (if not more so) to write a response saying why you disagree with a post compared to downvoting it, and you haven't expressed a decent reason for needing the ability to downvote.

In lieu of a downvote function one can simply upvote evrery other post on the forum to achieve the same result.

Yeah but it doesn't have the same emotional or visual power. Why are we discussing a joke anyway, that was why I gave you a thumbs down mjack.

Honestly I think it would be a much more powerful gesture, just by merit of the effort involved.

I just tried to report a spam post and was informed that the post I "requested" did not exist. This isn't a request I just wanted to give a kudos to the mod team, and I didn't really know where else to post it.

I keep forgetting to ask this question, but why is the "search topic" button only available to users while they're logged in?

I made these snow hybrid mana symbols for Aralheim. Could they be supported in mana cost tags and NGA Gatherer?

So, this one might be a little odd of a request, but can we get some expansion on the PM icons to include some other sets?
I still want, at least, the conspiracy icon because it's something of a running joke, but I use them to sort of spice up and organize things at a glance.

Also, can the Creative Corner be moved out of the Goblin Underground, or merged into Off Topic Discussion?
