I was summoned to this thread by my friend. I've only very briefly dabbled in Pathfinder, being a relatively-new tabletop games player of about 3 years. I am not 100% sure if I'll join this game when it starts but I'll be dipping my toes in to see if I can get the hang of forum-based tabletop.

Just remember, Advanced Races is one of the only things not allowed right now. Mostly because I haven't decided exactly which races are going to be featured in the world right now. Just the basics for now, so Half-Orc would work.

@TankHammer -- Yay! Now roll up a character and play! It's a homebrew world that's really, really undefined right now, so don't worry about making anything amazing.

And as a general rule, in the new few months, I'd make a backup character or two on your own just in case yours dies so we can work the new character in quickly. People tend to die a lot in homebrew worlds, especially since they won't be familiar with cultures and all of the random stuff that can land them in trouble without even knowing it. Just a suggestion.

Since I'm out of state, my books are at home. I can just roll up a 3E character from memory and adjust it to PF if you'd like?

Pathfinder can be done entirely online, the link is at the top of this thread for everything you need right from Paizo's website. Except deities, I don't know why.

Probably doesnt 'play well enough with others'. Hmm.

Inquisitors are a very fun class to play, but they're very difficult as well. As a note, every Inquisitor has to carry a Candle of Truth, which you can't afford, but we may be able to work it into your character. They are incredibly stubborn and sticklers for the rules, especially around their party mates. If that sounds fun, go for it, it'll be some great roleplay.

I see no mention of the candle, where is it mentioned?

From what I was reading they were very much not sticklers for the rules, much like the real world inquisitions, they saw themselves as fit to operate outside the rules for the 'greater goal'.

The candle is part of my world. It's partly a status symbol that goes with the class.

As a note: Please include your character's retirement goals in your descriptions. They could involve finding a spouse and having a family, opening a shop, becoming a teacher and passing on their stories, whatever you like. But including them will help me tailor the game towards your characters. Not that I don't already have an overall story in mind. You guys will love it. ^_^ I promise not to try and kill anyone right away... probably. Unless you jump down the ho---- nevermind, you'll find out later.

By far, that is the least exciting set of randomized rolls for choosing Race/Class/Stats I've ever made. In a way, I suppose that makes it entirely unusual in and of itself.

I am a Human Monk who is almost completely average, lol.

Well BH, we have Tequila as a Monk, PS as a Monk, Tank might be a monk, we might get a full Monk team after all!
