Armor is free unless it's half or full plate or something.

Well then! I need to pay more attention to the details of starting equipment, clearly.

Oh gosh, tell me about it, mate. "Go outside!" they said. "It's summer!" they said.

So who all is done with their character? If you are, send me the character sheet via PM and I'll see how many are done.

So, no idea if you're full up, but if you want another, I'll join in. I really thought the freeform would have taken up more of my time, but it seems to be standing still right now, and has been for a little while. Only thing is, I have no books on 3.5E, but I do have a working understanding of Pathfinder, which I'm told was built to be compatible with 3.X. So, yeah, if you don't mind a Pathfinder character, I'd love to join in.

I'm interested as well. Assuming Mown wasn't in, Squinty and I would be players 5&6? I'm tempted to play something different, and monstrous races are okay, so would a Gnoll be out of the question? With the LA1, I wouldn't have a class yet, but I'd be looking to go Ranger. I'd be fine working around the RP penalties of being a traditionally evil (and probably hated) race. I'd assume I can still get the adventuring license and not be straight up attacked in public by lawmen.

I do exist! I had several months of disappearance, but I'm back. :)

Ok, sounds good. I know a wee bit about Pathfinder - there are no cavaliers, oracles, inquisitors, or alchemists. It'll be a piece of cake to convert your guy to 3.5.

As for Gnolls... hmmm... I think Gnolls are too savage and inherently evil. Basically the town guard would kill you. Sorry. :/

And my HP:

Ok, Squinty, we actually have custom rules for wealth you can find on the first page. :)
And what's a Magus?
Plus, in 3.5, you always start out at 1st level with the max of your HD, so you'd have 8.

A Magus is a spellbook reached arcane spellcaster who is a hybrid made and fighter. The archetype of Quarterstaff Master lets it wield a quarterstarr one handed while casting. I chose that mostly for roleplay. All her spells I chose are defensiwe, roleplay or melee based for fun, as well as focusing on electric damage as a specialty.

If you want me to do another class, let me know. I threw this one together in about an hour and a half.

Ah ok, so like a spellsword. Sounds good, would you like me to cook up a homebrew class or would you like to multiclass fighter and sorcerer/wizard?

Pathfinder was built on the 3.5 OGL, so the character should be fine as is. I'll post links, but it's all online for free.

It's mostly compatible, though Pathfinder added some stuff like combat maneuvers (I mean, 3.5 has trip and grapple, but handles 'em differently). I can take a look at the sheet sometime this weekend and make sure it's all totally 3.5 kosher (assuming that sparkles with the DM, of course).

Money is a custom thing on the front page. As for the class, I think we'll go multiclass fighter/sorcerer. Which do you want to start off with?
