I fail to see the problem with that.

Well, basically, you have four people sending invitations that are guaranteed to fail, resulting in no information whatsoever, before the last one is forced through, at which point everyone has to accept, also resulting in no information whatsoever.

I doubt literally everyone is going to adopt my strategy, but if they do it's no worse than immediately accepting the first d1 proposal. At least this way, we see what groups these people propose. More information is better than less information, even if the information is low value.

Either way, you could also have a strategy that doesn't deal in absolutes. I'm not saying you can't reject the mission, but you don't have to make the thought process behind it entirely transparent, as that is overall more beneficial for the spies.

On D1 I have no other strats to go off of. Anything else is literally nothing but guesswork. Involving myself means that I know there's at least one Resistance on the mission and if we fail it's because of the other guy. I know that I'll be able to actively fight to neutralize that person if that's the case. I can't say the same about anyone else.

It's all about building a history that can be looked back on. While it provides no info now, it might give us something later...
