Everyone
Kitar looks over at the spot he saw Jalessa head and makes a note to go back and talk to her if possible, and then makes his way to the Inn with the rest of the group. Everyone gets there with no trouble at all, though the locals are certainly beginning to take notice. It seems a giant bird-creature, a giant red half-demon and a bunch of loud adventurers make quite a bit of noise around a small town such as Red Larch. The day is growing longer, and it's been a bit under two hours since you all parted ways from the center of town to go find adventure, glory, or just a drink or two with a pretty young barmaid. Walking into the Swinging Sword, the shade cools everyone off a bit. For those who hadn't been in here before, there is a long hallway with doors on the left and right going straight back from the front door, a staircase that wraps behind the wall on the left hand side, and a dining room to the right of the door with several wooden tables, a warm fire that is taking the humidity out of the air, four strangers talking, and one Obed chatting away with a random fellow drinker.
Kaylessa will approach you all and say, "Your friends have taken care of your rooms. Here are the keys to each of your rooms." She hands each one of you a key with a number on it. Hexion gets room 8, Iados gets room 3, Luka gets room 11, Dev gets room 12, Kitar gets room 16, and Obed gets a key to room 2. Kaylessa will explain that the first nine rooms are on the first floor, the next eleven rooms are on the second floor, and the top floor is more open rooms for group travelers. Luka will also notice there is now a chair in the center of the dining room so it can face almost all of the tables at once, and each table can see the chair easily without having to move.
Ghileeda looks up from her conversation with Obed and Thirty-four and sees Iados and jumps to her feet. "Amycipus, get down from there this instant!" She runs over to Iados and pulls the girl off of Iados' back, much to the child's protests. "You've kept Mister Thirty-four waiting, and no child of mine is going to miss her studies! Go do your lessons!" Ghileeda gives her daughter a quick swat on the bottom as the child goes and greets one of the men at the table of strangers with a formal bow.
"Ahh, guess I can't get out of teaching you today, eh child?" says Thirty-four. He gets up and takes Amycipus by the hand. "Well, come now, we can work in the stables where no one will get hurt." He stands, waves good bye and walks with the child pass you all and out the door. Ghileeda just stands by shaking her head.
"What a handful," she mutters. "Thank you for bringing her back, she can be quite... difficult to manage," she says to Iados. "She likes those who are different looking, makes her feel like there's a chance her father will come home. Poor kid." Ghileeda walks back to the tables, the three remaining patrons drop a few coins on the table, thank her, and also head out the door moments later. Now, it's just you six, Ghileeda and Kaylessa in the Swinging Sword.
