A fiend and sullen I may be but I am still a paladin. I'm not going to start scaring the locals just because they are backwards inbred manure-stinking peasants. So long as they don't resort to assault I have no need to defend myself.


Persuasion fills much the same niche diplomacy did in previous additions. So much so I often still call Persuasion Diplomacy.

I'll roll here and react accordingly IC once you give me the results, ok? I'm rolling Persuasion and Intimidation becuase I think both fit. You can use either or both, your choice.

Persuasion: 1
Intimidation: 18

Yeah, Persuasion takes much of the place of the old Diplomacy.


Persuasion is to get her to sit down, specifically, and to get her to open up more generally.
Insight is to get a sense of her.
Deception is because Obed is lying.

Sadly, nothing changes. You try to ask him not too, but stumble through the words, and intimidation doesn't work on someone not bright enough to be afraid of you.

I mean, at least it's better than 3.5 where you can play a cool race without having to deal with the nightmare of LA and racial hit dice. Though they really need to get on making a "Races of Destiny (For real this time)" with stats for Thri-Kreen, Warforged, Pixies, I guess "official" Aasimars, and whatever other fun races.

Dev, Luka and Obed - I need to know your plans for where you wanna be. Hexion, Iados and Kitar are much farther ahead for time due to more travel, so with Iados headed your way, we'll need push you guys forward soon to match the time.
