Perfect originality is overrated and often ugly. The best and most beautiful cards I've ever seen were clearly inspired by something else. Cards are not entirely unlike living organisms in this regard. All the good ones are a result of long evolution; the 'original' ones are either mono-cellular or mutant aberrations.

Didn't know you had a set. Guess I now know where that mechanic comes from. It's a reimplementation of a mechanic I made for a contest in 2012, at which point it was basically Resonance except the exile clause. However, I didn't like the Demigod of Revenge issues it had, and flexible mana costs just made the design space a lot better to work with.
I already gave my comments card by card as I was transcribing the set, but it bears repeating that this is the Mownest set I've ever seen.
Well, somebody has to. As an aside, I added a may clause to Adamant Skirmisher for less feel-awful moments (and added attacking or blocking there as well). I'd also suggest that if you are intent on removing the umlauts, then you change it to Drossvam, so it's at least not a really silly composite word.

All the commons, if I didn't do anything wrong. White seems a bit shallow, also having most of it's good cards be 2 drops in a set with 5 common 2 mana mana rocks might make it a bit weak, the 3/5 trenody is probably a beating if you get enough of them and the 3/2 flyer is good, but after that it seems a bit lacking, at least at first glance.
EDIT: mown is right, recruiter costs 3 mana not four.

You missed Recruiter, which is a really strong incentive to be white. On an entirely unrelated note, I noticed that I have neglected putting Glory cards in Red, it's underrepresented compared to other mechanics. And I accidentally deleted an important Madness card in red, which I don't know how I managed to, but I've done it with several others as well so I'm not all that surprised.
Anyway, the */* Spirit is supposed to be a roleplayer in BW, and Heroic Skirmish is intended as an archetype card for RW. I also have high hopes for the 1/1 First Strike, but I need to play with the format to see how it works out. I don't play Limited all that often.
Okay, I have three alternative names for Event. Any thoughts on season, epoch or era? I kind of really don't want to have to write "Invocations can't be invoked."
