Dev, Luka, and Obed
"Oh," says the women, "Traveling performers? I was really hoping you were adventurers when you said there were four more of you." She looks a bit crestfallen, but quickly recovers her smile and continues on. "So sorry about that, my name is Kaylessa Irkell, and I run this Inn. Luxury for travelers is our goal, and each room has a hearth, warm draperies and tapestries, and running water provided by our specialized rooftop cistern system. Try saying that five times fast! The topmost guest floor is a dormitory style where travelers can sleep for group rates in rooms shared with up to six guests, but the lower floors are divided into pleasant suites of guest rooms, each with its own garderobe. And as you see, we even have a dining room, though mostly for beverages. If you want a mean, across the street is The Helm at Highsun. It's an eyesore, but they serve good food."
Obed will arrive at this point, and you will see Kaylessa eye him with a bit of concern before smiling at Obed in her plastic and overly practiced way. It takes her a moment to regain her thoughts and continue on to Dev and Luka.
(if you look behind you when Obed arrives, you'll notice a ramshackle two-story building with rusted iron bars covering the windows before the door closes behind him)
"As for payment through services, you're more than welcome to use our dining room as your stage to drum up business and earn some coins, but I'm afraid I can't exchange entertainment for lodging," concludes Kaylessa.
Hexion, Kitar, and Iados
(ooc: assuming everyone is following Hexion since their characters said they were looking to him)
As the other three jaunt off to the Inn to find a room or grab a drink, you three head South along The Longest Road and deeper into the city. You'll pass Waelvur’s Wagonworks (16) on your left with Drouth Fine Poultry (10) on your right. Next you'll see a sign on your right that simply has the image of a large ham being sliced with a cleaver (11). On your left, past the sign with the ham you'll notice a building that has no sign, but there seems to be a large amount of weaponry if you look through the windows (13). Past that on your right side again is a plain square building is always coated in a graywhite shroud of rock dust, and through its windows you'll gleam samples of cut stone as well as “raw” samples, and one woman quickly carrying scrolls across the floor (12). As you near the edge of the town, a smell of animal fecal matter rises quickly from the last few shops, throwing a highly unpleasant tone over the area. A side road shoots off to your left that seems to connect back to the Cairn Road.
Near the end of the street (19) there sits a male human adult with five other young males, four human and one dwarven. His head picks up from the bowl of food he has cupped in his hands, and he eyes the three of you suspiciously. He calls out loudly, "Hey, don't forget to keep you pets on short leashes in here, we don't need no trouble!" The words seem to be aimed at Hexion, though there is room for interpretation. "If you need collars and leashes for them, just let me know and I'll make 'em for ya. 'Specially that featherbrain there, don't need it flappin' up our roofs and ****ing down our chimneys!" The five young males laugh nervously as they eye Iados with a good amount of caution.
(ooc: if any of the groupings are off and you thought you were going a different direction, let me know)
