@KoD: Everyone should be should be scared when I'm a cop because I never play them to convention.

One thing I will talk about in your last post is the "lazy town" Scar spoke of. I won't disagree with him that convention has shown that when town can be lead around by the nose from a cop source, they'll let him. I will slightly disagree with that being the case here, because if I don't have a damning result I have no intention of sharing it just to share it. But there will be people who will lazy town regardless.

I'll bite on the inconsistency on Niklor's part. But why lynch PopPa JD? Well kiddos, if PopPa flips town, we can take Niklor's explanation at face value while losing an asset that, frankly, probably won't do town much good. Everybody knows PopPa is just here to troll anyway.

I was going to drop a Scar vote until his last post. While I do not recall Scar ever opposing a mass claim on principal before, I do not really have time to dig up conclusive evidence one way or the other before deadline. But guess what I'll be looking into during the night...(and by that I mean looking into past games for consistency in claimed behavior)...

Neo I'm kinda riding the fence about right now. I don't really see his flip as scummy because when you discourse, as has been going on today, there is a chance to change people's minds, that's the reason you're discoursing. So somebody's mind changing isn't really that scummy unless it's a flip at the drop of a hat. Neo's was not.

Garren seems typical scummy Garren to me, which probably makes him town. Time will tell.

Forgot about that rule about needing a majority to lynch. Guess I will have to consider who to cast a vote on before I head towards the sack in the next couple of hours if the game state is still in a need 3 to lynch position.

@Numbers I don't really see much PopPa flipping town proves about me. If he flips scum, might justify some positions of "he was trying to save his scumbuddy." But being able to claim that I didn't want to vote PopPa because I'd rather go with my suspicions than a policy lynch isn't particularly compelling intel to prove. Not that I agree that it proves it. If I am scum, maybe I just felt like it was more natural for scum me to go with his gut. Town me certainly loves going with it. Perhaps it's all a clever ruse.

No strong reason I'm afraid. We've both contributed basically nothing but I'm not going to kill myself.

@Nik, scum could feel it's more natural for them to post with their toes while doing hand stands. That doesn't mean I'm going to operate under the assumption that scum are posting with their toes while doing hand stands. The fact of the matter is we have two ways to view your inconsistency currently: 1) you're trying to swing a lynch away from a scum buddy (this is actually the compelling part to test) or 2) You just don't believe a policy lynch is prudent at this time. If PopPa flips scum, the first will probably be how people lean, but that doesn't mean the second can't still be true. However, if he flips town then we know the first cannot be true and will have to lean towards the second. The important thing to remember is that the second says nothing of your alignment, only the veracity of your explanation for why you aren't policy lynching.

I am sorely tempted to hammer.

I don't deal well with temptation. That and I am not sure I will be awake when the deadline comes up again. I might be denying someone else the right to push another wagon or post their thoughts, but if I abstain and everyone else who pops on in the next twelve hours does as well, I will feel much worse. I was possessed yesterday and me and Febb's quicktopic got deleted as soon as he died (there were only two of us in there).

I killed Niklor last night.

Imagine my surprise today when I received a PM stating that my victory condition had changed from (slightly paraphrasing) "any possessed player escaping" to "no possessed players escaping". My power role remains otherwise unchanged aside from the addition of the word "honest" to the beginning of my role (instead of my role being sandwiched between the words "possessed" and "killer").

I assumed it was common sense, but that is fair enough.

You do get a farewll post, and that's it. So no more posting after that.
So yes there is a no posting after death rule. My apologies.

So Rubik just to clarify are you saying you are *not* possessed anymore?
You were possessed, had the objective and power to kill someone and did so?
Then, after doing so, you start the day no longer possessed and with a new objective?
Also you're effectively claiming your role is killer? As in a serial killer? Because that is very interesting indeed.
Assuming what you say is true this game just took a turn for the interesting. Consider me intrigued.

Also if anyone had some major flash of inspiration or made any headway on the puzzle over the nighttime period kinda DON'T attempt to solve it. We'd lose if you do.

I was possessed yesterday. I was a "killer". I killed someone last night and now I am neither.

I have a power role that I had the previous night and was able to use in addition to submitting a night kill.

Based on my impressions "honest" is the town keyword, "possessed" is the mafia keyword, and "killer" is the keyword for the mafia member that submits the kill (judging by the fact that PP didn't flip as a killer).

Thanks for that. We'll at least we now know the mechanics of this game. Very interesting. Though it makes a bunch of our usual interrogation methods entirely useless. Still we're 50% of the way done and I can rule out 3/7 players as being clean this turn.

For those not keeping up one of the following players (15377, KingofDominaria, NeoSilk, Elijin) are possessed this turn - and perhaps only for this turn. If we solve the puzzle before the possessed player is routed out Town loses the game so don't do that. Now we just need to figure out which of the four it is.
