Really don't know, I remember seeing almost nothing, but for the beginning and end. So the episodes in the middle of the second season. Actually I will not be surprised if it is more than ten.

I can't recount ten in a row either, but the arcs that were not from Araragi's perspective (Neko-white, Nadeko Medusa, Hitagi End) were a bit tamer than the other ones. Except perhaps that one scene in Neko-white. Watchers know which one I mean.

Girls bath scene?

My favorite parts of the anime were:

(1) The scene where Araragi and Senjougahara are at her fathers car. I really felt pity of him. This scene is followed by a very emotional scene that was really well-done. That scene was the scene that consecrated my intention of continuing to watch the anime. Probably the best episode of the series.

(2) The scene after Araragi returns to the present after trying to save Hachikuji, only to find everything destroyed. I was surprised, I was not expecting this type of scene, specially from this anime. Then later when he meets her in altered present as grown-up. Really emotional and well-done.

I am almost finishing Mirai Nikki. It has an interesting premise, a mystery that I don't know yet how relevant it will be and potentially interesting characters, but the plot is a huge mess and most characters are wasted by not being developed. It also has so many bad scenes, like long pauses to look at their diaries with the enemy armed right at their side or alliances without purpose when you could just kill your enemy right away.

It tries sometimes to mimic Elfen Lied in shock value, but it is always not enough. Sincerely only the mystery is keeping me watching this anime and the fact that I am very close to the end. I would place it between regular and good. Problems aside, I am still watching, so that counts.

And just to finish talking about Monogatari. The worst scene in my opinion is the end of Nekomonogatari (Kuro). It is revealed information that should not be revealed since this part is a prequel to Bakemonogatari, completely ruining this part of the anime. It is always a possibility to happen when you mess with the timeline.

Started watching House of Five Leaves and I gave a quick peek at Shin Sekai Yori. It looks promising.

Actually, Neko black is supposed to be extra background info to lead up to neko white. The events take place before Bake, yes, but in terms of storytelling the placing is fine as long as you watch in proper (release) order.

The only thing that was not adapted in the proper order is Kizumonogatari because we're still waiting for that movie....COME ON SHAFT. It made the scene with Episode and Hanekawa in Season 2 not as good as it could've been.

The place is fine, but the content, not so much. They reveal information that was revealed at Bakemonogatari, but revealing that information earlier has no sense chronologically speaking.

I just finished Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works: Very enjoyable. I especially like the twist since I didn't see it coming until just before it was revealed, which is pretty rare. They also did an excellent job of foreshadowing it, unlike a lot of shows that give you no clues and are like "aren't you surprised!" The fights were cool and the premise was interesting. There are things I would have liked changed/refined, but it's probably just personal preference.

Also finished JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders. Starts off pretty sexist and boring, but it was goofy enough to make me watch a bit, it gets progressively better around episode 25,but it still never really became "good" in my opinion.

Started watching:
Is it Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon - Guess I have a thing for tower leveling...and harem anime :(. Nah, I hate the Harem aspects of it, takes away from a show with a pretty cool premise. It's interesting though and I like "gaining levels" and seeing new dungeon floors.

World Trigger - The Neighbor kid reminds me of Mown for some reason...seems like a watchable show so far, let's see how it develops.

I'll probably start watching Durarara!! as well since I've heard it's name a bunch of times.

I assume I know what the twist of Unlimited Bladeworks was, but I've been exposed to the original Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero so its hard for the story to twist too much when so much of the premise is already known. JoJo's was great. Let's hope they just keep making more and more of it.

On a side note, got around to starting Barakamon. It's a very pleasant show. The characters feel a bit one dimensional, but they fulfill their roles well enough.

Outside of Joseph Joestar's catch phrases...and maybe some moments with Polnareff...I just don't see what's appealing about JoJo. The idea of Stands is pretty cool, but every episode is "Oh no! This guys unbeatable!...oh, Jotaro beat them because he's so cool!"

Eh, the first two JoJos were much more interesting in my opinion than the third one, but it's mostly about guys standing around making cool poses while making monologues.

You're not?

It's probably just because he reminds me of one of your avatars.

I see, they do stand around and pose a lot. I think they actually made SDC as an instructional video on the use of Deus ex Machina...

Finished Mirai Nikki. The final episodes are so much better than the rest of the series, at least in terms of plot, in terms of scenes, they remain more or less the same. Too bad you need to suffer to reach them. It is an imperfect ending, but perfect to Mirai Nikki. Too bad they didn't put more effort in this series, it could have been a great one. Sigh...

The alternative ending is bad, more than the rest of the series. So if you are not curious, don't watch it, unless you really like fanservice. Then go ahead and watch it.

Final View: Interesting anime with some great qualities and a lot of bad ones. My opinion remains the same from my previous post. A good ending doesn't redeem a bad journey.

The simulcast announcements begin. CR is getting Working/Wagnaria 3. Seriously, why wasn't season 1 renewed.

Mirai Nikki spends too much time trying to achieve shock factor for the sake of shock factor and thus neglects such minor details as character development, a good plot, or something that makes the show worth recommending other than "well it was violent as **** and the op was ok".

I agree. The best aspect is the mystery and the premise. The rest is flawed. Characters could be great, but they aren't, at least most of them. The plot is a mess, with incomprehensible alliances and a weak background, but it is not entirely unfunny. And also there are many bad scenes, really bad scenes. The shock factor is there, but it is weak, when compared with Elfen Lied.

If I had to give it a score it would be 6,5.

05 - My Melody (203883)
06 - Plasmagica (185381)
07 - Hello Kitty (143342)
08 - Trichronika (142673)
09 - Little Twin Stars (138926)

What is this I see on Toonami? A *gasp* non-long-running anime that I haven't heard of before?

I liked mirrai nikki, including the characters and plotline. Speaking of shock factors, there were a few twisty scenes and i thought they were appropriate and enjoyable.
