I would honestly rather take Kolahgan Aspirant over Butcher P2 there.

Really? That's surprising. I can understand the Sandcrafter, that's going for an archetype and staying on color. But Aspirant?

I took the Butcher since it's way the best card in the pack, GB can be a thing, and nothing else was available. Of course, next pick was easy then, and I went UB.

I just think Butcher is not fantastic (outside of sealed). I am happy to play 1 butcher even in UB, and it doesn't go well with green, and it's not heavily drafted (in my experience, I have seen them pick 14).

Aspirant is a solid aggro card (which I guess, also doesn't really go with a 7 mana dragon), and I like RG more than BG (and I think more than WG too but I am fine with WG).

It is a very bad pack.
This whole set of packs was quite difficult though. I think the guy to your right was RG. Blue was the most open, but the blue cards in the 2nd half of the pack are mostly meh.

Yeah, I fear that our early passed blue options are gonna cut blue coming back our way next pack and leave me stranded. It was a difficult first round. I agree with your assessment on Butcher too, I've seen it suppress the opponent (me) fairly well, but its a bit difficult to get in the sweet spot with it.
