Abundant Growth does seem a lot less relevant now. And this isn't a hugely multicolor set either. I suggest cutting it, but I don't feel that strongly either way.
I agree on
Apostle of Elori.
I like having Arcane Scrying put the cards in the yard. Since we have so dang many blue one drops how about we raise the cost to
and but still let it dig five cards deep?
Blooming Marlback... not sure about that one. I always saw it as a decent incentive for mastery/enchantments in limited, Not sure if it;s the place for a big constructed player.
Brenem, Light's Shadow shouldn't effect exile- that just rings alarm bells for me. Otherwise, it's a decent enough card, if not a super relevant one to the set. I think it needs to be at mythic though. Being able to play anything from your graveyard is too high impact for anything lower. The only way to make it rare that I see is to have it send everything that dies into exile. Even, then it seems kind of mythic.
It pains me to say it, but
Cheapshot Enthusiast could probably be cut. I love that card, but I won't let my relationship drag me down.
Nerf
Chronicler Sphinx. I don't want a "token ridiculous card", especially if it's ridiculous in the same set as
Tarmogoyf. This needs fixing. I would restrict it to one card a turn (maybe tied to the risk of attacking) or even make it an etb effect that only worked on one card.
Claw through the Sand- when you say lower the cost, did you forget to write "and make it a sorcery"? Because I could get behind that. Instant speed reanimation is probably not something we want at common, even if it is pretty weak.
I like
Consult the Elder Trees where it's at right now.
All Suns' Dawn is still a beast in commander, so it's not like Consult the Elder Trees won't find a home. If we do lower the cost I'd make it
.
is just to easy to pull off for this kind of card advantage.
I think we were still in the very early stages of design when we added
Cremate. It really doesn't fit in this set.
