Fooling around with my Elf deck... where are gone all the good Elf cards we had in past iteractions?!? Joraga Warcaller, Immaculate Magistrate, Imperious Perfect... sigh!

hey man I love elves as much as the next gal I just call it as WotC sees it

the idea with a good elf deck is the same as with goblins and vampires. give them enough cards to try but not enough to make it work

Here is my elf tribal deck that has been working surprisingly well. If I were to make one change it would probably be to remove a Fog for another Forest. This deck is aggressive and takes most people by surprise in that regard.

I am considering adding in the new elf that pumps for elves in play but the three mana price point has kept me from making changes so far. I have contemplated replacing elders with them but I don't think it's right.

I tip my hat to you good sir. I remembered a long while back someone posting it but I couldn't recall if they ran with elder also. I remember people debating that decision over Beastmasters but I went for elder for reasons I explained in the video.

Think I will dig up some of my other old lists for youtube soon too.

Is Elvish Pioneer really the only option in this deck? Ugh WotC really needs to stop screwing green.

Also worked on my monogreen deck which will go up today. It's aggressive with 5-mana payoff cards to go over the top.



I opted not to run Elder of Laurels in this build, instead playing Darksteel Axe and cards like Raised by Wolves / Hunter's Prowess / Enlarge.

Scion of the Wild has been very solid and deserves more credit (a 3/3 for 3 mana is already fine, but he usually gets larger).
He combines nicely with Raised by Wolves, which has 8 wolf buddies and stacks nicely by itself.

The exact number of Darksteel Axe, Titanic Growth, Gather Courage and Timberland Guide fluctuate, but I'm happy with the current numbers.

Hakeem, I have been watching your latest episodes and the heartache with the white enchantments .

Have you considered running 2 Naturalize and I would swap out with 1 cultivate and 1 nylea's disciple. I know you don't want potentially dead cards in hand but as mono green the extra ramp and life gain may be worth paying to be able to handle tricky enchantment based situations and not just for mono white.

Just a thought.
