JoJo is great. Not enough "OH MY GOD" happening lately, though.

Lol, I showed my wife the "OH MY GOD" and "OH ****" parts when we were drunk one night and laughed forever...

I am torn between watching next either Tatami Galaxy or Mononoke. Any insight into which I should watch?

Mononoke's director was apparently also the director of Gatchaman Crowds and Tsuritama, which were beautiful, as well as C, which honestly turned out pretty meh, but was visually appealing.

On the other hand, Rubik has told me that Kaiba is amazing and apparently Tatami Galaxy is by that guy. Also, Tatami is labelled as being absurd which just sounds really appealing.

Still haven't decided, but did watch Kite Remastered (Whichever version CR has). Guess I have an excuse to watch Kite: Liberator now.

All I have to say is they had some really shoddy road standards.

Episode three of Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals and another 6 instances of fourth-wall breaking (7 if you count the narrator saying "don't try this at home, kids"). This series is nuts. En-you-tee-ess nuts.

Does anyone remembers Saint Seiya?

Nobody. Well it was the most famous anime in Brazil, ever. No other anime came even close to reach the same mark.

They made a live show last year to commemorate the 20 years of Saint Seiya, with many selected musicians, the most famous a component of the Angra band, and they will redo it to commemorate 30 years of the anime in Japan.

That speaks how this anime achieved the cult status here.

Not much to do today, so I will say why I remembered Saint Seiya after all these time. Just because I heard 2 days ago at the radio about the show and my curiosity brought me to see that they launched a remastered version in HD.

I wont see it again (I saw all episodes already from the original series) because even at the time it was not my favorite anime, but it was a good one. It was a Shounen anime with many battles scenes, no comedy and some dark themes (although light). It is listed as the number 25 of top 100 anime of all time in Animage.

I started on Tatami Galaxy. Halfway through. I enjoy the narration and art style and the general absurdity of a lot that happens while still feeling like it could almost happen.

I sure do love me some Cowboy Bebop, every episode either gives me chills or laughs or suspense. Tho I haven't met many that agree with my choice of favorite anime that I can watch all day errday.

I've finally started watching Mushi-Shi off some files a meatspace friend gave me, and I have to say it's got some really evocative ideas. I love the mythological fairy tale aspect of it.

I have to wonder whether you're referring to Cowboy Bebop with that last sentence or a completely different, unstated anime.

You guess. Finish the puzzle today and I will release all the hostages. If not.. Well I best have some cleaners come by. If you catch my drift.

Don't expect an answer from me in the same day unless it's the weekend. Besides, how do you expect me to get cleaners on such short notice? These things have to be planned out, man. There's cops to pay off, supplies to buy, transportation to steal...

On a more serious note, I've watched Cowboy Bebop a number of times and I don't think I've ever tired of it. It has, in fact, been quite some time since I've seen it last (Toonami).

Finished Ergo Proxy.

Ergo Proxy is full of cryptic dialogues, cryptic scenes, disjointed storytelling mechanics, and an incredible slow pace. There are chapters that absolutely nothing important happens and chapters that appear to not belong to the story at all. Sounds pretty bad, isn't it? I don't think it is, actually it is really great. I was dreading the end of it, because I was loving it so much that I was fearing the end would not pay off. Oh, but it does pay!

Awesome anime, I loved every minute of the journey and the end wraps up the story in an spectacular way (but not solving all questions). I will rank it right at the same category of Planetes, although for completely different reasons.

What's Ergo Proxy about? I understood it's a kind of supernatural story? Maybe some sort of allegory for modern technology and the internet? I've heard good things about it, but I'm not sure if I'd be interested in watching it myself.
