Meh, I turned in a crappy deck that I thought looked fun. I know I'm probably coming in last place, but here's hoping I can win at least one game.

Edit: Ok...I can only think of a few...but my favorite one abuses the "can't win before an opponent has had a full turn" angle more than being a better wincon.

The Reset meta honestly looks pretty warped to me.

So...is there some way to abuse Upkeep triggers to leave something in your gy for a turn? I don't think there is, and I don't know if it's relevant, but I'm curious. Just looking at cards with Echo is slightly confusing.

Echo definitely not.
Either you don't pay and it goes from GY to hand after the reset trigger or you do the reset trigger first and it goes to your hand.

Circling Vultures?

Huh, but Vultures wouldnt really hit the rules exploit that I'm not even sure exists. Anything you'd be able to do with Vultures I think you'd be able to do in a normal round too.

Something tells me I should just run black lotus + geth's verdict + volcanic fallout and call it a day.

Obviously tokens are public enemy #1 since they get to keep existing. So, Grave Titan and Kuldotha Rebirth and all the other fun setups are alive, well, and kicking. Of the Vanilla decks, Artifact Blast can still work, though it gains no real benefit from the format. Leyline is toast. BridgeTongs can't get there. Chargelands are sunk.

Warped Devotion is cute.

I dislike how tokens can stick around. It feels against the spirit of the format to me.

That discard rule is something I can't wrap my head around...seems pretty inconsistent.

Artifact Blast seems more powerful in this round, but I'm not really sure why...probably because there are really limited ways to not use artifacts. Then again, it suffers from the same old "not too many people can use it" argument.

Warped Devotion is in a bit of a weird spot in terms of the discard rule, but I'd say it's banned.

I've always been of the opinion that cards like Oona's Prowler and Mind Bomb do not violate the rule, since they're an optional cost that you're never forced to pay. Warped Devotion seems similarly avoidable in some ways (just don't play multiple cards, stupid), but at the same time, it's very much not optional once you're in the wrong situation. For that, it falls just on the side of banned.

I'm still just pouting over Jace...I was really proud of that deck. Either way...the "just don't play multiple cards" argument can be used with Jace too. Granted, Jace can return multiple permanents to make them discard more than one...but the only decks that would be ever be able to discard more than one card from it either couldnt replay those cards UNTIL Jace ults, or had to choose not to replay them (I'm probably ignoring storage lands...)
