I think I would play Rupture over Tail Slash in Z's list, and then grab the Vanguard here and replace the Mind Rot.

I was serious about gravepurge. Assuming we don't pick up that red X spell to draw cards. Or cheat in bitter relevelation.

I think this is a pretty close pick. I'm not a big fan of Muckdraggers, but the chance that we Manifest a creature is so low that I think it is better than Invocation.

Muckdraggers is a great pick for us I think. Tough body to fight through on the ground and it helps us with card advantage. It'll make it easier as we do 1-1 trades on blocks early or with our removal.

Now with 2 Kolaghan's Command, an Ire Shaman, and a muckdragger then we should be able to get some good card advantage consistently.

Muckdraggers is a fine card and fine in our deck. Heck, even if it's a 3/6 for 5 or whatever we would pick it.

Alesha's Vanguard
Sibsig Muckdraggers

I think it's time to wrap this up. Our deck has now crystallized enough that further picks are not going to be very interesting. Here are the packs:

Pack 3 pick 6
War Flare
Sultai Skullkeeper
Harsh Sustenance
Fierce Invocation
Temur Runemark
Tasigur's Cruelty
Abzan Beastmaster
Ugin's Construct
Sage's Reverie
Scoured Barrens

Pack 3 pick 7
Jeskai Runemark
Jeskai Sage
Feral Krushok
Lightning Shrieker
Archers of Qarsi
Smoldering Efreet
Return to the Earth
Mindscour Dragon
Blossoming Sands

Pack 3 pick 8
Mardu Scout
Feral Krushok
Lightning Shrieker
Archers of Qarsi
Smoldering Efreet
Return to the Earth
Grave Strength
Thornwood Falls

Pack 3 pick 9
Soul Summons
Cunning Strike
Abzan Runemark
Rakshasa's Disdain
Temur Runemark
Battlefront Krushok
Goblin Boom Keg

Pack 3 pick 10
Grim Contest
Harsh Sustenance
Lightning Shrieker
Ainok Guide
Smoldering Efreet
Hero's Blade

Pack 3 pick 11
Aven Skirmisher
Great-Horn Krushok
Ainok Guide
Shifting Loyalties
Thornwood Falls

Pack 3 pick 12
Ethereal Ambush
Refocus
Defiant Ogre
Grave Strength

Pack 3 pick 13
Temur Runemark
Tasigur's Cruelty
Arashin War Beast

Pack 3 pick 14
Temur Runemark
Tasigur's Cruelty

Pack 3 pick 15
Lightning Shrieker

IMO, we get

Fierce Invocation (possibly Ugin's Construct as sideboard against Pacifism, as we really don't need the Invocation)
Smoldering Efreet
Mardu Scout
Soul Summons (nothing for us)
Smoldering Efreet
Thornwood Falls
Defiant Ogre
whatever
whatever
Lightning Shrieker

Going back to the build I posted, I would try for an aggresive deck that cleans the early board with removal and tries to win with a heavy hitter if the games go long. I'd take out the Servant, the Icebreakers, the Goblin, Minister, put in Alesha's Vanguard, Muckdraggers, two Efreet and the Scout, play 17 lands. I think Rupture should stay in the sideboard, but it can definitely come in in some matchups.

Deck is playing some suboptimal cards, in particular, we are missing a Zombie Fish. Still, this amount of removal, some of which even brings back our early drops, can overpower anybody who stumbles even slightly. And we have a strong late game, with Pummeler and Muckdraggers.

I'll do your votes except I am playing Ugin's Construct. That has a lot of potential in our deck. It looks to me like we could have as many as 5 colorless creatures in our deck that play on turn 3. Plus, the pacifism angle.

We really don't need another 5 drop creature.

If that's what you want to do, then I suggest Shambler and Icebreakers over a land and the Aspirant, which is totally out of place in what is essentially a control deck. That way, only morphs and Shambler die to Rupture. I think Slash is fine, since you have enough other removal and can keep Slash in hand until late game, where it can kill a lot of things. It's certainly better than any of the other things we have. It should be boarded against decks where Volley is live, but I'd start it main.

Yeah, this deck doesn't really need 18 lands. I like Icebreakers as 23rd card, shambler and aspirant are pretty close. I like aspirant since you can theoretically attack even if it's not the primary strategy. Lil' Shambles is better against *multiple* X/1s so I would board it in.
