Here's something we could do: we can start putting a time limit on picks, say, 24 hours per pick. If you know in advance you cannot pick for more than 24 hours, it's up to you to find someone to pick for you. If the time limit is reached, we pick a basic land or whatever for you and move to the next person. This basic land is a place holder and you get to replace it at any time, as long as the card you replace it with hasn't been picked yet.

So let's say player A times up, he gets a forest. Player B picks a raging goblin, Player C plicks a storm crow, then player A comes back. Player A can now replace his forest with a card of his choice, but may not pick raging goblin or storm crow.

Note that the time limit would be a per pick thing, which effectively gives people on the turn (shadow and cato) 48 hours, which seems fair.

Since we're at a point where archetypes are pretty much decided and there aren't nearly as many contested cards (or at least cards are only contested by a few people), I don't think the penalty for reaching time limit is too bad. For instance, unless she was thinking of picking a non-basic, I doubt anyone is going to take whatever bun was planning to take this pick, so she'll likely end up with the same pick, but at least the draft will be moving forward. 24 hours is also a fairly long period, so you get plenty of time to make your pick.

Calm your jets. It's a common bun-ism for her to start a project and lose interest half way through. I was poking fun. I'm in no rush, there is no money/prize/time limit involved, etc. etc.

And I didnt make a pick for three days once and that's because I worked 30 hours that weekend. I did complain in the beginning because I was given the impression we were going to make this go several picks a night. And then I realized that wasn't happening and stopped bumping for every single poster and annoying people to pick.

I suck!

I like the 24 hour rule a lot, and if everyone is on board, let's do it.
