They should make it more noticeable.

on my quest to clear Ember Spirit from my all hero challenge I forced Cato through a 3 game long losing streak today! We did start by getting owned hard and ended with a very close game so at least I like to think there was some progress made somewhere!

i would recommend not taking the second point in fire remnant until level 24

That was pretty hellish. One game, I played barathrum, but everyone else picked cores, so I got stuck playing the roaming ganker spirit breaker. It went poorly. Another game, I got to experience the fun of the DK vs Viper mid matchup, with a bounty sniping the chicken with my bottle on it. Then, I played the solo support dazzle, which actually went OK, until they won one big fight and got 2 lands of rax with tiny and furion. Finally, I had a 21-6 OD game, and we were 2 rax up on them, but our team took some... questionable fights, and we ended up feeding enough gold to their Dusa for her to carry the game.

wow i just read it and it is incredibly useless indeed.. almost as bad as spectre's lvl2/3 ulti scaling a couple of patches ago.

Good news is, I won with Ember!! Someone on the enemy team had their drivers crash and he came into game 5 mins late to play a pl that just never got there...

no kidding, at some point we were Roshaning with the enemy team right behind our asses, aegis dropped and our KotL grabbed it.. right after that we all died except for KotL and Ogre magi who barely escaped to tp base, only to be recalled back to our jungle where our aegis wielding kotl was being eaten alive by the whole enemy team (>_<)

next hero on the challenge list is clockwerk... yay a good hero

Except there was an early abandon during his ember win, so it didn't count. Welcome back to hell, Fenix, we missed you dearly.

i should get around to completing my all hero challenge. i've already done Chen and Broodmother, so it's smooth sailing until I get to Techies

ember spirit is pretty rad once you get used to him

crazy thought, does maelstorm do anything for him? supposedly when you're using his aoe sleight thing you will proc it a couple of times

yeah, it's a pretty decent alternative to battlefury. i have heard of double-maelstrom being a good ember build

Earlier today I played a game as Morph against a really good team that had the best Pudge I've played against, yet we won and I got a Rampage+ (their Mirana bought back and I killed her again) and it felt so good.

Dotas highs are really high, but disastrous and miserable games with **** happen all the time; so I've found the best way to enjoy this game is to brush off those games by being silly and not getting involved in the abuse-flinging.

I've learned to use the mute button really liberally. It saves me a lot of grief.

I only mute people that speak a ton of non-english on voicechat, or otherwise spam terrible music or make noises. But muting people because they're being dicks on text chat, especially teammates, I avoid to not lose game-related information.

Also, when I read the description I thought Centaur's Aghanim upgrade was the best one by huge a margin, until last game where I activated it, and our team's huskar somehow got himself stuck on a cliff, leading us to lose the teamfight, lose 2 sets of raxes and essentially lose the game right there. He didn't even have a tp scroll and when he tried to bring himself one they sniped the courier @_@

bane is a pretty cool guy

Bane has more disables than the Paralympics. He's the absolute weakest hero to push towers though, I think!

Has anyone tried the new aghs on him? It's usually spells that stop your channeling not attacks, but preventing enemy heroes from right clicking you to death while you're gripping someone seems decent..

it seems pretty situational, but i guess it's a good item after BKB if you ever get that farmed. at least they buffed it, the old upgrade for bane was pretty awful
