Butcher. We need bodies, and I don't think Coat is better enough to dissuade me of taking what our deck needs. I also believe Stormsinger is just a worse card, especially in our deck.

Butcher is a terrible body. It's basically a removal spell that sometimes upgrades a 2/2.

It's still our only reasonable option in that regard.

Given that we don't actually have a 2/2 to upgrade, rather than take another, much worse removal spell, let's go for the Stormsinger.

Well, this is a useless pack for us.

Uh, is there no tiebreaking mechanism? We proceed considering both alternate universes, the one in which we drafted Venom and the one in which we drafted Stormsinger?

Nothing here looks especially likely to be played, but Champion of Arashin is the only relevant body (the other bodies being 1/1, 0/4, and conditional */* that in our present deck tops out at 3/3), so we'll go with Champion.

I would've gone with the Stormsinger. Living Lore for this one.

This pack is not good for anyone so I wouldn't worry about it too much. We might still be able to cut red and go UB so Sidisi's Faithful. I am not a big fan of Living Lore.

Dropping either of our colors will make our deck significantly worse, though. My vote goes for Gravepurge and hope we can grab the creatures in the next packs.

I can change my vote for Stormsinger last pack to break the tie.

Two Lores, a Faithful, a Champion, and a Gravepurge. Also, you broke the tie in favor of Stormsinger.

Twin Bolt
Ultimate Price
Kolaghan's Command
Sprinting Warbrute
Rending Volley
Kolaghan Stormsinger
Living Lore

Pack 1 pick 8
Dromoka Dunecaster
Dutiful Attendant
Dirgur Nemesis
Dragon-Scarred Bear
Sandcrafter Mage
Ojutai's Breath
Sprinting Warbrute
Island

my pick

Easy brute. And what are you worried about 1/2 way through pack 1. If this was pack 2 and we had 7 dudes I would be worried.

Aspirant is a great pickup here. A 2/1 that can't be blocked by an X/1??? Yes please.

Interesting deck so far...I like Gravepurge here. Statue is ok too. Both of them are cards that can do ok things, but purge feels more relevant to the current selections.
